Woodlands has helped with our oldest for 2 years and we trust our youngest at woodlands. Lots of care & love is delivered by jade and her team and we’re very fortunate we found a place for our little angel here

We have been part of the Woodland community for the past 3.5 years. We have also been a big supporter of the school - recommending it, defending it, praising it. The centre had 'old-school' owners, who were a bit behind the times in tech, but who clearly very much cared about the community. 1.5 years ago, the centre sold to a new owner. The new administration slowly began nickle and diming parents - now having to supply sunscreen & bed sheets when we never did before as an example. No big deal, things change. Recently, they have with no notice, shut down 3 classrooms and left nearly 60 families with no childcare. They are refusing to be up front and truthful with parents, they opt to send late in the evening, or right before the weekend (5.40PM or later) messages. They'll say THEY had no notice - but they knew there would be renovations from the floods that happened in July and they did not share that these would be coming. The parents have had to get quite a bit of information from Public Health because the administration is so difficult to give answers. On top of all of this, they are keeping parents fees, pretending this is now 'an emergency' in order to do so. Childcare wait lists are 2 years, they know we are stuck and they are taking advantage. Shame on Woodlands. If you have other options, look into them as I no longer trust the administration of this once wonderful school. Please note: The TEACHERS themselves are wonderful.

We have been a part of the Woodland community for the past 2+ years and love it so much! Our teachers are amazing and our kids love it so much. The outdoor play area is the biggest we have ever seen at any daycare (huge yard with a climber, multiple play areas for different age groups and a forested bike path which the kids love!) and the food is nutritious and menu varied. Our children are learning so much under the care and instruction of Woodland’s teacher and it’s because of their dedication, love and attention. This daycare is wonderful!

We have been lucky to be part of the Woodlands family over the past several years! We are grateful we found them, and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for childcare. All of the teachers are caring, responsible, and fun. The management staff are deeply committed and involved, and their communication, especially during the pandemic, has been outstanding. The facility, including the back playgrounds are fantastic and spacious, so much for the kids to play with. We will miss everyone at Woodlands, but thank them all SO much for everything they have done for our family :)

My son was terminated after months of us begging the management for help so he can feel more comfortable in his class. They are understaffed and refuse to get more help for the naiads classroom that’s struggling with behavioural children lashing out, teaching other kids behaviours. The behaviour my son exhibits at woodlands is a complete 180 to who he is. He describes the class as loud and so busy. When I walk in it’s out or control. They have staff quitting and walking out due to the conditions, they’ve had one staff member fired and CAS called for throwing a kid to the ground on the playground. As I walked in today my son was cowering behind a bench after a teacher grabbed him by his clothes and tried dragging him into the classroom. Do not enroll your kids here, the owner just cares about money. They will neglect your child. Management told me to my face that woodlands is not an inclusive school and won’t accept kids with any form of disability
