We had a bit of a fairytale that didn’t quite end with a "happily ever after" at the art studio today. We finished our self-guided workshop ahead of time and told the assistant, Cinder-Ella, that we’d wait for our friend to wrap up. Now, my son, bless his curious heart, tried making conversation with Cinder-Ella. At first, she was patient, and I did my best to keep him entertained, reminding him that she was busy. But when he asked her if they had a computer, She abruptly told him, "Your stay here is free, and your time is already up. I don't have anything for you to do here." At that point, we decided to leave, though I couldn’t help but think—if waiting wasn’t allowed, she could’ve just said so from the start, and I would’ve completely understood. So much for an art studio that’s supposed to encourage kids. It seems this Cinder-Ella’s clock struck midnight a bit early!

It was really fun! I would try this again. It took two sessions, 3 visists; one to mold, second to paint/glaze, and the 3rd to pick up the items.

We had a very disappointing experience with 4Cats. After deciding to cancel our annual membership, we reached out and requested that our auto-renewal be cancelled before the renewal date. However, after several days of non-responsiveness they nonetheless charged us for the annual membership renewal. We continued to follow up by phone (which was useless as their message says they do not check voice messages, and if you ever do get through the phone is answered by an instructor who has no ability to help customers) and email (also non-responsive). For several more days we did not receive any response. When we finally did get a reply from Alona by email, it was only to say that they don’t give refunds. We again called and emailed several more times, to no avail. Finally, 5 days after Alona’s initial email, we got an automated email that a refund had been processed. This isn’t just poor customer service — it feels dishonest and cowardly. At no point did anyone call us back, apologize for their error, or assure us they were working on it. We did everything we could on our end to cancel in advance, but their near-complete lack of responsiveness made the entire experience frustrating. It’s especially disappointing because their classes and PA day programs were truly great, and that’s the only reason we’re giving more than zero stars. We were considering holding our kids’ birthday parties there next year, but after this experience I don’t see how we can fork over more money and organize an event with a business that has demonstrated such a lack of integrity and won’t even respond to calls or emails.
