  Our son attended the Academy for Mathematics & English for just over a year and we couldn’t be more happy with the results! We initially signed up our child for tutoring per the recommendation of his teacher as he was struggling a lot with reading and writing, especially during Covid and was averaging a C grade. After just a few short weeks, we really started to see an improvement in not only his reading and writing but also in his overall confidence. Within a year he went from being in the lowest level for reading in his class at school to being in the top readers in his grade. We are so thrilled with the results and our son now even enjoys reading in the evenings for fun and rarely struggles on any word or sentence anymore.   My daughter has really enjoyed and made great progress in the Learning to Read program at the Academy for Math/English. The instructors have made it fun and interactive to keep her attention, and they've really tailored the in class portion and the take home portion so it stays fun for her. I would recommend it for anyone wanting their child to get a head start and to learn to work independently from a young age.
