  My husband and I can't say enough good things about this daycare. We started our daughter, Hannah, with daycare when she was about 18 months old despite being fortunate to have my Mom (Grandma) helping full-time whenever we needed. Our plan was just to have her in part-time to socialize, etc., but she ended up going full time and absolutely LOVES it and we LOVE the caregivers there. She's developed so much and in so many ways that I don't think she would have otherwise under the guidance of the staff at ADSS. We've now been with them for just over a year. We initially toured about five different locations in Airdrie and NW Calgary. This location and the Staff made us feel the most comfortable and confident to register Hannah with them. It's a very welcoming environment and open - parents/ caregivers/ guardians are welcome to stop in any day and partake in crafts, gym time, whatever - it's not closed off / behind closed doors so to speak which we liked. Miss Tara did our tour and it was telling for us the fact that she isn't a direct caregiver for the kiddos but works the front office / administrative duties yet knew every childs name, and clearly had a special bond with children of all ages as we went through each class for the tour and into the gym and children were happy to see her often running up to give her a big hug. To this day it impresses me how she knows and remembers every child's name and who their guardians/parents are. Hannah has been through two different classrooms as she started in the Toddler 2 Room and had amazing caregivers, Miss Friba, Miss Bel, Miss Marites, Miss Zahra, Miss Katherine, and Miss Bel. Hannah seemed to take especially to Miss Friba who often gives her little "piggy tails" (Hannah won't even let me do her hair ;), but all of the ladies were amazing with Hannah and their bond is still to this day quite evident. Hannah is now in the Toddler 3 room and Miss Friba transitioned over around the same time as her and was joined by Miss April and Miss Karam who again have been so lovely. It's so comforting and endearing to watch Hannah in the gym with Miss Friba, Miss April and Miss Karam on any given day when we arrive to pick her up and she's walking around hand-in-hand with one of them or sitting on their lap. We're so grateful for the wonderful care each of these women give our daughter and the peace of mind they give us - they're truly angels for the work they do and the patience, love and care they show each of the children. Outside of the amazing staff, the owners of Airdrie Daycare are very pleasant when we see them at the location and come across very engaged. They host various events throughout the year in the evenings for families to partake and socialize with their children and the caregivers (summer picnics, tea parties, Christmas parties / pot luck with Santa and special guests [Mickey, Olof, etc]. It's also nice that they utilize an APP called "HiMama" so throughout the day I get sent photos and videos of Hannah and each evening get a final report of what she did that day, how long she slept, what they had for snacks and lunch, etc. This helps us engage with Hannah at home asking what her favorite part of the day was, with the knowledge of what songs they sang, what activities they did and what crafts they made. We're a family of first responders and don't trust easily, we did our research and have had absolutely no regrets. It's also been comforting and telling that over the last year we've seen so many other first responder families who trust this daycare with their kiddos from CFD, CPS, RCMP, EMS and PSC/Calgary 911 workers.   I personally have a great experience in this daycare with my daughter starting with Infant room 1 and now going to Infant room 3. we shifted to Airdrie recently from Toronto. My daughter just adjusted to the daycare when we left toronto and it was a big concern for us as she took long time to adjust there. But, we are grateful to the faculty members and director of the airdrie daycare that they helped in the transition and my daughter is really Happy there and enjoys the place.we love the daycare , its services and the environment provided to the kids. I would like to say special thanks to Ms Taj whom my daughter really admires and she really takes great care of my child. i get immediate attention incase of any emergencies and The best part is she always updates about her meals and concerned the day she did not had her lunch . As a mom it makes me very relived that my daughter is in good hands as i get a detailed report in hi mama and verbal confirmation from Ms Taj that my daughter did well the whole day.we also love the cute hairstyles she does on my daughter’s hair. Lastly i would not forget Ms joanne and Ms karan who helped a lot while transition phase of my daughter in Infant room 1 .

  This is the 3rd daycare we have been a member of in Airdrie and it is excellent. They keep things very clean and organized. The rooms are nice and large and there is a large indoor and outdoor space to runaround and play. I would like to give a personal shout out to Ms Shayla, Ms Kennedy, Ms Shannon and Mr Brad. My daughter adores all of you and she talks about you all the time at home. Keep up the great care!

  A year ago my daughter started at this location and Ms. Bel and Ms. Friba were an absolute bless they had the patience as my daughter came from a day home and was not used to big places. They both were very loving. Ms. Katherine was a very special helper on the transition to the next course and finally Ms. April and Ms Karam take the time to potty train her and to teach her and help her with her craft activities. I find the daycare pretty organized. The staff is responsible, clean and most important for me they care for my kid. I would like to highlight as well the big role and effort Ms Tara does to have the place running.

  We've been part of Airdrie Daycare team for a few years - we started at the Meadowbrook location, but when Sierra Springs opened, we moved. My 4 year old and my 2 year old both attend, and have since they were 18 months old. I love this daycare. The staff is absolutely amazing! I don't know if it's normal or standard for a daycare team to care so much, but it is very clear that Airdrie Daycare staff do. The care and attention they take with the kids is stellar - I love the scaffolding of learning, and every day both of the kids come home with new learning. The programming is great - lots of singing and dancing, socializing and playing inside and out. I also love that the kids get to go on walks along the pathways as well! As a parent, I also feel very supported. The staff is very accommodating, the food is excellent and there is high quality vegetarian options (apparently my daughter loves daycare cauliflower!). Everyone is so nice and kind, and you can tell the staff really love the kids. Even when there are behaviour issues or concerns, the kindness with which the staff speaks is so wonderful. I never feel judged for the kids having mismatched socks or unbrushed hair. The Christmas social tea and summer BBQs are also a wonderful way to meet other parents and finally put faces to names for the kids! I know that at the end of the day, the staff know that they are an important part of my children's lives, and they take on that responsibility with all the care I could hope for.
