I went for a trial class and had a very bad experience. Firstly, a man came and arranged the chairs for parents to sit which was very good. A lady walked in few mins later and said rudely - Why are parents inside? I told we are here for trials and want to see how you teach and how my kid learns. She again said rudely ok you leave your kid and ask them how was it after the class. I told that the kid is too young to understand now or for that matter even stay alone there for the very first class. She said ok come for last 10 mins and witness what your child learnt in first class. Just while I was getting up to leave I heard her saying - “I dont want any drama here by letting people stay”. I came out and waited for master AJ to talk to. After he came the rude lady also came out and started talking to him in a language I do not understand. I politely requested her to talk in English so that I can understand her point of view and whether she is telling him what really happened. However, she said that she will explain him in her language and he will talk to us in English. This was just an unacceptable behavior towards a customer if you want to run a successful business. The rude lady and the master A J kept saying that other students will get disturbed if we allow trial kid’s parents inside. In that case they should have let me know in advance about this rule of their class. In genral, parents are always allowed for trial class of younger kids. I have been to several dance class trials and everywhere parents are allowed to be present and see how the teacher teaches and how good teacher is with kids, etc. along with seeing if the kid is comfortable in that learning environment. This is the whole point of a trial class. I would not even have signed up for the trial if I knew their rule because it is important for me to see the environment in which my kid is going to learn. I understand they have a different rule in their academy. Mainly, the way they asked me to go out was very harsh and unwelcoming. If the teacher herself is rude to parents then how can parents trust her with their kids. At last, master AJ did apologize. The rude lady did not even bother to be polite even after seeing that I was going out without taking the trial class. She lost two customers right there. ————— edit Thank you for your reply. It is not about your rule. Even though it would have been good if the rule was stated while booking the trial class. It is mainly about the way teacher spoke to the parents. She was late for the class and she was angry and talking rudely.
