The best school period !!!. Highest quality of education, spotlessly clean, incredible food and most important this is by far the most child centered management I have ever come across. I could not have asked for a better environment to introduce learning for my 4 year old daughter. Wish we had such a facility in Milton many years ago when my 14 year old was growing up. We plan SK for my daughter here as well, my daughter is way ahead in her learning curve and it would be great to keep the momentum going so want the management to add additional grades to make this into a full private elementary school. So get on with it!!! Lol :) Teachers in the Casa program are exceptional and a big thank you for taking such keen interest in laying such a solid educational foundation. Keep it up AVM Milton you are directly contributing to the future success of this new generation of amazing kids.

AVM is an excellent Montessori. My kids have attended for a few years, ranging from 1.5 to 6 years. The focus is on children’s overall development and academics. The owners and teachers are very friendly, and are responsive to each child’s needs for every age. The individual attention to each child’s progress is tremendous. My children were able to progress in academics much further than their grade year, this was possible due to the dedication of their teachers and school management. There is a good balance of structured and free play format. My children have shown significant advancement in learning and confidence in all areas. The fresh healthy meals, cooked daily on campus, are a great bonus. It is good to have such a Montessori in Milton and we are proud to be part of AVM family.

We had such a great experience at AVM. Our daughter was only 10 months old and had pretty bad eczema at the time. We were really worried, but the teachers were amazing. They were caring and always paid extra attention to help soothe her itching, from constantly applying lotion to even giving her little facial massages. We also loved how AVM kept us updated with daily activities and photos. Evie gained so much confidence and became such a friendly, social girl. We kept her at AVM as long as we could, but it was finally time for her to move on to public school. Thank you so much to everyone at AVM.

Our daughter attended AVM from 11 months old until she left for JK, and we absolutely loved our time there. Having had four other children in traditional daycare, the Montessori learning environment at AVM was a completely different and wonderful experience. The teachers consistently go above and beyond, taking a genuine and vested interest in each child. Our daughter learned so much before entering kindergarten, and her educators supported her growth every step of the way. She was given more challenging work whenever she asked for it, never limited in her curiosity or love of learning. She even enjoyed doing small practice “homework” activities that reinforced what she was learning in the classroom, and she was always excited to complete them. One of the biggest differences we noticed with Montessori is that the learning is child-led and hands-on. Instead of everyone doing the same activity at the same time, children move through materials at their own pace, choosing work that interests them. The classrooms are filled with beautifully designed, tactile materials that teach concepts through exploration—so children build independence, confidence, and a deeper understanding of what they’re learning. It’s truly play-based in the sense that learning happens through doing, not just through worksheets or group lessons. By the time our daughter started kindergarten, she already knew all her numbers and letter sounds, had begun reading, and was doing math well beyond the JK curriculum. Because everything was taught through hands-on activities, her days were full of learning that never felt like learning. The school also puts so much heart into all of their special events, from Mother’s and Father’s Day celebrations to their Holiday Concerts. Our daughter flourished in confidence, especially on stage singing and dancing. It was the most heartwarming thing to see. We are so grateful for the foundation AVM gave our daughter and highly recommend this school to any family.

We intentionally waited six months before writing this review because we wanted to be absolutely certain that what we were seeing wasn’t just a “honeymoon phase.” Six months in, we can say without hesitation that the difference between our son’s previous CWELCC-funded daycare and Angus Valley Montessori (AVM) is nothing short of shocking. If AVM were a hotel, it would be the Ritz-Carlton. So the real question isn’t “Should you send your child to AVM?” — it’s “Why is your child not already at AVM?” From day one, the level of thought, intention, and care has been on an entirely different plane. There is a real, structured curriculum taught every single day. Language classes are part of the daily routine. There is weekly homework. The special events are beyond anything we could have imagined—beautifully executed, meaningful, and clearly designed with the child’s development at the centre. Truly, anything you could dream of for your child has already been considered and implemented at AVM. In just a short period of time, our son has made foundational academic and social gains that we know will set him up not just for success, but for a deeply enriched way of learning. He is engaged, confident, curious, and thriving. Socially, he has already formed meaningful friendships that feel like the start of lifelong bonds. Looking back, we honestly wish we had never sent our son to a standard daycare. The contrast is that dramatic. AVM is not just childcare—it is an exceptional educational environment, and we are profoundly grateful our son gets to be part of it. If you are on the fence, don’t be. This is one of the best decisions we’ve ever made for our child.
