  ARTSies is amazing! My daughter attended the summer camp for 2 years now. She started when she was going into grade 1. She LOVED it! Libby & Joey make magic happen. They inspire & empower the kids. The kids get to sing, dance, act and show off their creativity by getting individual and group parts of a musical and performing it on stage to a large audience near the end of the two week camp. You will be in awe of what these kids can do when they work together. Rest assured, Libby & Joey will keep you in the loop! They have the best communication (videos & emails). We had our daughter on the bus service and they sent text messages if the bus was running late or the camp councillor on duty relocated for shelter with the kids when it was raining. Your kid is going to LOVE IT! All her friends have come back asking to be part of more sessions.

  This will be our third summer with ARTSies summer camp and we are constantly impressed by how energetic/creative, organized, mindful and positive the team is. Libby and Joey are truly passionate professionals who have instilled the love of live theatre in the children. They are constantly evolving to ensure the campers have the best time and are able to learn in a safe/welcoming space. Even with the move to the Scarborough location, bus programs for campers were implemented seamlessly from Markham (although I’m sure a lot of planning went into it). The productions are always fantastic; you can see the children are thoroughly enjoying being part of it. This is the one and only camp our daughter requests for as a ‘must do’ every year as her experience has been nothing short of amazing!

  My daughter fell in love with the theatre thanks to ARTSies! This is her second year (fourth show!) at summer camp and it is the absolute highlight of her year! Libby and Joey pour so much of their heart into each production, and gives space for every single child to have their shining moments. The culture they’ve created is one of inclusivity for all. I’ve loved watching my daughter’s confidence grow with each step she takes on that big stage, and I find I’m always shedding a tear or two because I see her pushing the limits of what she even thought she was capable of. I was laughing, I was crying, I was laughing-crying through Frozen Kids this summer! It was a fantastic night! ARTSies sets the bar really high for all summer camp programs in the GTA!!!

  My daughter had such a wonderful experience at ARTSies summer camp! It was her first time doing anything like this, and she came home every day singing and dancing around the house. After the final performance, she immediately asked when she could do it all over again. It was a joy to see her so engaged and having fun on stage.

  My daughter attended the Wizard of Oz session this past July and had an absolute blast. The final production was incredible but most importantly it was the incredible staff who made the experience for the campers unforgettable. My daughter made many friends and she she’d a few tears in the last day as the as going to miss her newfound friends! This isn’t the cheapest camp but worth every single dollar to see the constant smiles from my daughter as she enthusiastically described her time at the camp.
