My son has been with Alvin for about two years now. His teaching method finds a great balance for theory and practice. The pacing for my then six year old allowed for his curiosity and intrigue to set in. He then takes the lead to reinforce the lessons without overloading the child. He also includes some fun song choices here and there to break away from the pieces from the lesson book. My son enjoyed his time with Alvin and I definitely recommend him if you have little ones looking to start their musical journey.
