Arthur focuses on what needs improvement, while implementing what his students are interested in learning. As a teacher, he is able to adjust to his student’s learning styles and offer constructive feedback that allows students to progress in their lessons. Arthur is extremely knowledgeable and tailored the lessons to our musical interests and was very patient along the way. Arthur is absolutely amazing and we cannot recommend him enough. We found him on Google while searching for guitar lessons for a child - 8 years old. They’ve been thriving through their lessons together. It’s been very rewarding to witness. This was the most important for us, the connection between the teacher and student. Arthur is very diligent, welcoming and accommodating to our hectic schedule that changes week over week. We do a combination of in-person and virtual lessons and both work out great. He provides regular updates both in person and email with his feedback, and will provide music sheets and practice tasks via email for us to focus on between sessions and to help keep the momentum. He’s a very knowledgeable and talented musician which shines through his sessions. We’re happy we found him as the experience has been extremely personable. We have had an absolutely wonderful experience with Arthur as my son’s ukulele teacher. This was my son’s very first introduction to music, and Arthur made it fun, engaging, and truly personal. He took the time to learn what my son loved and built the lessons around that, including writing original songs about our cats, which completely captured his interest and excitement. He also balanced this creativity beautifully with structured learning using the method book, so my son was learning real skills while still having fun. His teaching style was patient, encouraging, and incredibly engaging, and it was clear how much thought and care he put into each lesson. We could not have asked for a better first music experience, and I would highly recommend him to any parent looking for a thoughtful and talented music teacher.
