Been to a few of Onton's 1 on 1 classes now and I definitely have to recommend it to anyone who's either starting out, or trying to get more serious in breakdancing. I was unsure at first as this was something new I was going into, however, I am glad I went through with it, as Onton was very friendly and welcoming, and made the whole experience feel effortless. I also felt like we were progressing at a good and steady pace, learning something new every session. He is very detail oriented, and keeps note of what we did, and what needs more practice. Feels good to learn from a pro!

After three months of classes with coach Onton my satisfaction could not be higher. Every week coach Onton's years of experience and dedication shine through his teaching. I have progressed more in these 3 months with coach Onton than the 15 months I trained individually taking workshops and learning from community members. A big set back for breakers is injury, and so it was for me after a couple months of breaking. Coach Onton's specific strengthening and mobility drills have conditioned my body to where I feel very comfortable and free while breaking. This has made my time in the art much more fun and comfortable. Due to his experience and knowledge his vision for your breaking journey is far into the future and his training pays off like surprise dividends making it a very satisfying experience. Coach Onton is always on time or early and replies right away. I couldn't recommend him more and am looking forward to the future training with him.

I cannot say enough about what a positive impact Onton has made on my son over the past few years. Onton has helped Levi discover a love of breakdance that has rewarded him with confidence, focus, technical strength and a creative outlet that comes with a strong sense of community. Onton has a special way of mentoring his students by connecting at their individual level and inspiring them to grow on their unique trajectory over time. Aside from his awesome talent and technical skill which is truly a joy to watch, his passion for the breakdance community and inspiring the next generation of dancers is truly commendable.

Onton is an amazing coach. He’s an excellent breaker and, more importantly, he really knows how to teach. He pays close attention to you as an individual and adapts his coaching to your needs instead of comparing you to others. He’s very professional and always prioritizes safe training. I genuinely appreciated his flexibility when I had to audition for a contemporary dance program. He completely shifted his approach to support my goal. That kind of awareness and care is rare. Highly recommend him to anyone serious about growing as a dancer.

Onton is an incredible coach and mentor to our son. Beyond the breakdancing itself, Onton teaches him crucial skills like strength and mobility, and invites us to many events, which are very inspiring, and a nice welcome to the breakdancing community in Toronto. On top of all that, he is an extremely patient teacher who my 8 year old loves, and knows how to push him hard while still fostering a fun environment to keep him motivated, happy, and constantly improving his skills. I could not recommend Onton any more highly.
