Amazing service. Arrived at noon and got seated in a timely manner. Cappuccino was made perfectly. Eggs Benedict t was delicious, the avocado was very fresh and the croissant was delicious. I would definitely recommend this place. Staff were professional and courteous. Although place was super busy, I did not wait long for my order and it was very fresh.

Cafe Landwer is an absolute gem right in the heart of downtown Toronto. From the moment you walk in, the ambience feels warm, inviting, and effortlessly cozy — the kind of place where you instantly want to slow down and stay awhile, even though you’re surrounded by the energy of the city. 🥰 We tried the iced Nutella latte, the Nutella granita, and an almond croissant, and everything was incredible. The Nutella latte was perfectly balanced and indulgent without being overly sweet, the granita was refreshing and delicious, and the almond croissant was flaky, buttery, and clearly made with care. Every bite and sip felt thoughtfully crafted. Cafe Landwer manages to create a cozy, comforting vibe while still feeling vibrant and lively — a perfect little escape in the middle of downtown. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for amazing coffee, delicious food, and a beautiful atmosphere. I’ll definitely be coming back! ☕🥐💛

My partner and I had lunch at Cafe Landwer. While the place itself seemed nice, the food was disappointing. We ordered the hummus appetizer and a cheeseburger. We informed the staff that we have a rosemary allergy and were assured that the bread did not contain rosemary; however, when the food arrived, the bread clearly had rosemary in it. For my burger, I requested no raw onions, but it arrived with onions that I had to pick off myself. The burger itself was very underwhelming—it was like eating a meatball with unmelted cheese. While the service was generally fine, our order notes weren’t followed, and no compensation or apology was offered for the mistakes. I also ordered a second beer that never arrived, yet the server still tried to charge me for it. They did remove it from the bill, but it felt like the staff may have been overwhelmed. Overall, I’m giving Cafe Landwer one star. Under different circumstances it might have been a two, but for the price we paid, it’s a no

We came here on a whim around lunch time. It was a pretty large establishment when we walked inside, and it was packed. There was a tablet by the door so we just put our names on the wait list. We waited for a couple minutes before we got seated, so wait time wasn't too bad. I really liked the ambiance and design inside. Originally I wanted to get a tiramisu, but the waiter told me that they were already sold out. It was around 11:30 in the morning and they were already out of tiramisu? I was so disappointed, but I knew that I had to come back because I'm sure their tiramisu was that good. For drinks, we got a London Fog with oat milk and I got an Iced Latte with oat milk. Both drinks were good, the oat milk blended well with the espresso. It was rich yet creamy. I forgot what exactly my boyfriend ordered. But it had eggplant. I think it might've been the Sabbich Bowl. His entree was very good, it was flavorful and savory. Since I had my heart set on the tiramisu and something along those lines, I just ordered the Belgian Waffle. That was pretty good too, the waffle texture was crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. All the components were great, I loved the sliced bananas and nutella with the waffle. There were so many different textures on this dessert plate but it came together so well. It definitely satisfied my sweet tooth. Lastly, service was excellent. I was actually impressed. Though they were very busy and the staff were running around the place for a good couple minutes, we got seated quickly. Our server was awesome, he was helpful and funny. We were taken care of and had a pleasant experience. This was actually my last meal before heading to the airport, so I'm happy that my trip ended on a good note. I look forward to coming back again and trying other things on their menu, and the tiramisu!

My first time visiting this place, I heard a lot about it. The vibe is really good. It was packed. Just the right noise. Level service is very efficient and professional. We had the Shakshuka and sabich plate. Both are really good and especially the pita was fluffy and warm.
