This was my second ever escape room so I don't have much experience. I was looking for a kid friendly escape room and Captive Kids was great. As with my previous escape room review I don't think my success or failure is relevant to the review so I will not include that detail. I will say that pass or fail you should enjoy the puzzle. We did Mr Moody's ghost.

Great customer service from Ian who was very helpful when our nephew wasn't feeling well. Your kids will love it and it's still quite challenging even for my wife and me. We'll definitely be back.

Pros: the Kids had a blast. The 2 staff members were helpful and friendly. Cons: overpriced....Always order extra or bring your own food as well. The place was busy and we only got the party room 45 mins later. Under staffed if having multiple parties. Turn around time were slow. We had to continuously keep asking for items. It wasn't the staff's fault but the placed just needed more decks on hand.

We just finished a party with ten 8 year olds and oh my gosh they had such a fun, exciting time! Mom and dad also had a really fun time too. Initially it seemed expensive (we brought our own food in) but in the end it was worth it. The kids had to work together as a team to be able to move on to the next room. There was a lot to figure out and the clues were tricky but doable. When they did figure something out they couldn’t contain their excitement. I highly recommend this experience for a unique, exciting and rewarding kids birthday party! Thanks also to a great Captive Kids Oakville team!

Great place to bring kids! I went with my husband and niece's, one between 10-12, the other below 6. The good thing is that children 6 and under are free. I liked that the clues weren't too hard, but not too easy. We went on a quiet Sunday evening so only we were there. We managed to escape before the hour was up, and only had to use two clues! I also liked that it was multi room. I would definitely come back again!
