Food and vibe were both really good. Everything tasted great and the space felt cozy. Shoutout to Andy for the sweet service. He heard we loved their chili oil and gave us some to take home. So nice of him 👍

I recently dined at this restaurant and had a truly exceptional experience. The food was outstanding, both in presentation and flavor. I ordered the Khao Soi and opted to substitute shrimp in place of beef, which proved to be an excellent choice. The dish was rich, well-balanced, and beautifully prepared. Our server, Tatyana, provided exemplary service throughout the evening. She was professional, attentive, and genuinely kind, ensuring that our dining experience was seamless and enjoyable. While the parking situation is tight, the quality of the cuisine, the level of service, and the restaurant’s elegant ambiance more than compensate. Overall, it was a memorable experience that I would gladly recommend.

I had a wonderful experience at Chiang Mai York Mills. The interior décor is absolutely beautiful — warm, inviting, and thoughtfully designed, creating a cozy yet elevated atmosphere. The food was authentic, flavourful, and beautifully presented. Every dish tasted fresh and well-balanced, with rich, traditional Thai flavours that really stood out. Carlo our server and all staff were attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming throughout the entire meal. Service was prompt without feeling rushed, and they made us feel very well taken care of. Highly recommend for anyone looking for authentic Thai cuisine in a lovely setting. I’ll definitely be back!

This restaurant is a must when you're in York. In fact, it's so good I'd travel from downtown core. Amazing and authentic Thai food. Restaurant vibe, decor and plating are all about fine dining. The dishes are very inexpensive considering the Michellin star-like plating style and taste. I was blown away. The service is amazing. You get treated like a VIP straight from entry. Wait staff are very attentive, mixologists at the bar make you feel like you landed home and the manager floats around checking in on your experience. My favorite dishes: lemongrass dumplings, fresh Thai rolls with tofu, crispy fish, green papaya salad, mango salad, chicken green curry, mango sticky rice, Mango Sticky Rice cocktail (heaven!) and matcha ice tea. I found this gem in google reviews as it's a block away from my hotel and ate there twice (bar seating and patio) plus ordered delivery when they were full. This place is always full so advance reservations are recommended. Thank you Chiang Mai team for the excellent experience! If you offered a 5 course tasting menu, I would absolutely reserve one.

We had such a great experience at Chiang Mai thanks to the amazing service from Manali, Kim, and Jane. Manali was incredibly kind and thoughtful. When the inside was full, she made sure we were comfortable by seating us on the heated patio, and then went above and beyond by moving us back inside as soon as a table opened up. That level of care really stood out and made us feel valued as guests. Kim and Jane were also wonderful. Both were very friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout our meal. Their positive energy made the whole experience even better. Excellent service all around. We’ll definitely be coming back!
