  I had high hopes, but was ultimately disappointed by several aspects of this center. The outdoor facilities are outdated and dusty, and indoor ventilation systems appear clogged with dust—raising concerns about cleanliness and maintenance. The meals lack variety, with only one item served per meal, which doesn’t reflect current nutritional standards for young children. I also found the overall atmosphere emotionally disengaged. Many teachers appeared indifferent, and I witnessed multiple instances of crying toddlers not being comforted promptly. During an outdoor activity, I observed a teacher displaying passive-aggressive body language—frowning, crossing arms, and making disapproving gestures—toward a young girl, which I found troubling. There’s a noticeable lack of updated training and child-centered awareness. The management team, some staff, and even certain parents seem to operate in a bubble, disconnected from how modern daycares approach care, learning, and communication.

  My daughter went to CWM from when she was 15 months old until she was ready to go to kindergarten. She received the most loving care and attention from all the teachers from the infant room to toddler room then Junior and Senior rooms. She loved going to daycare. She ate better at daycare than she did at home, and napped better at daycare than she did at home. She learned independence and loved the art, math and science programs at CWM. The teachers were very communicative about her learning progress, and were transparent and proactive in telling us about her days. We are so happy that CWM was a part of her early childhood.

  can’t believe our time at CWM had come to an end at the end of August before my son starts kindergarten! My son enjoyed his time here for the past two years and loved all the teachers he met at his time here. Everyone is pleasant, kind, and attentive which gave me reassurance that my son was in good hands during daycare hours. After a month of Kindergarten, he still talks about daycare and all the friends he’s met along the way! I would recommend this daycare to anyone looking for one in their area or not !

  My son went to this daycare when we were living in Richmond at the time and went from 1 to 5 years old. Now we are in Vancouver and my daughter who is also in Colourful World Montessori is worth the drive. I cannot explain how both my kids learn so much from the experience teachers. To sign language, teaching them to brush their own teeth , potty training etc. If it weren’t for the teachers I would not be able to teach my kids to exceed so fast. Both my kids always mention about the teachers and how all great they are in different classes. They focus on learning , which I seen other friends who go to other Montessori and is not up to date like Colourfull. I could have gone to other daycare in Vancouver but I chose to be back knowing my child is SAFE and is doing so great overall. Thanks for always keeping the facility so clean and organized, I couldn’t ask for another daycare with the best teachers !

  I can’t say enough great things about this daycare. Both of my children attend, and we’ve had such a positive experience. One of the things I appreciate most is the incredibly low staff turnover — the consistency of familiar, trusted teachers has made a big difference. My kids are thriving: they're eating well, learning a lot, and having so much fun every day. Most importantly, the teachers are genuinely caring, and that means everything to me as a parent. I wholeheartedly recommend this daycare to any parent looking for a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment for their child!
