  I purchased a set of Greenpan non-stick pans from Cookery, which work flawlessly. Both Victoria and Lara were incredibly helpful in processing my order, and went above and beyond to make sure that my order was processed to my satisfaction. They even managed to source another set of pans from a different location, as the ones they had in stock were the display model, which I wasn't sure about. I manage a retail store myself and I was very impressed with the level of professionalism, care, and communication that both Victoria and Lara took during the order process. Keep it up, and the pans are awesome!

  It is a great pleasure for me to write this glowing review for Cookery, in particular dedicated to Krisztina! I am actually from Montreal, and frequent the Cookery boutique here in Quebec. This week, I needed an item that was only available at Cookery Uptowne Yonge, and I needed it in an expedited fashion. It was too late to have the item transferred to the boutique in Montreal, so I called Uptowne Yonge directly, spoke with the lovely Krisztina, and she was more than understanding and helpful! What a breath of fresh air to connect with a person who listens, who wants to make things happen for their clients - even a cold call! Within 24 hours, I had the item in hand, and this is what makes Cookery (and Krisztina) head and shoulders above the rest - it was packed beautifully, with such care, with such attention, it was perfect. They packed it in the manner that they themselves would like receive something, I was really touched and impressed. In a world where by and large customer service has gone the way of the Dodo, it is important to celebrate Canadian companies who go the extra mile - it doesn't get more Canadian that that! Thank you, Krisztina, I cannot wait to give the gift to my friend, she will love it. I wish you continued success, and I look forward to speaking with you again soon.

  I recently discovered Cookery and it's my new favourite store in Toronto. Each time I've been in there, I've found a new "must have" thing for my kitchen. They carry items I've not seen in ages, (proper grapefruit and citrus supreming knives, the perfect pepper grinder) I went in to inquire about knife sharpening and had a batch done this week. I was a bit nervous about leaving my treasured knives with them. I have a Brazilian Churrasco, Spanish 16 fold steel, a series of professionals, including 2 serrated and one needed a tip repair. Every knife has come back in pristine shape and they are a joy to use again. These knives were honed on a whetstone, not on a grinder and cared for by someone who definitely knows what they are doing. This place has great products, fantastic services and people who really know their trade. And the prices are really good too! I'll be going back there a lot.
