I take zouk dance classes at this location, and I absolutely love it. The studio is well lit, in a great location, and the instructor Junyan is very knowledgeable and welcoming. I have taken several dance classes and the ones here are by far the most informative, well paced and accessible. I definitely recommend taking it if interested in a great place to learn Brazilian zouk/ kizomba etc

I have been to the Dance Annex studio for a few Sundays now taking Sensual Modern Bachata, and I can tell you this place is an amazing place! Great wooden floor, very spacious with mirrors and the location is amazing located near Bathurt Station and walkable from Spadina Station as well. As a Salsa Instructor and Bachata (not modern sensual bachata) Instructor myself, having a good location, great dance floor with mirrors are keys to any Dance Studio and Dance Annex studio has all the components!!! Way to go Dance Annex!!!

I see there are responses from this venue to members of my clean up committee that are being treated as false. Those individuals were instrumental in overseeing an event in March. I was the head of that clean up committee and instrumental in co-organizing the event. My group waited for a walk through from this venue owner as he initially requested but then night of the event he texted the Lead organizer, last minute he won't be showing up. Some of us did have work in the morning. We stayed back for nothing. That is only the tip of the iceberg. Please treat your future clients with dignity and respect. Take accountability.

Dance Annex is one of the best locations in Downtown Toronto, we have been renting Dance Annex studio for Bachata classes about 2 months so far, nothing but great environment and convenience. For the studio, there is hardwood floor, great for dance practice and Green P parking can be found right behind the studio. Bathurst subway station is about 3 mins walk. The lighting is great, with mirrors. Nice speakers if you like playing music. It was heartbreaking to see some people left fake reviews, because the manager/instructor who has been running the studio is such a nice person and giving back to dance community all this years.
