Don’t waste your money on this place, we ordered a hot chocolate, Latte and a red velvet cheesecake and both hot drinks weren’t hot and we had to drink them like water, the red velvet cheesecake wasn’t fresh at all as you can see in the photo, it was dry and it was maybe frozen for a long time. I will not go back to this place they are far to be D Spot. The service was also a bit uncomfortable. The waiter kept walking back and forth near our table as if he was watching, but he wasn’t actually serving or attending to any customers. It felt unnecessary and made the experience less enjoyable.

The staff were very attentive and created a welcoming environment. I thought the ambiance was quite pleasant, making for a comfortable visit. My only suggestion would be that the drinks could be improved in terms of their quality or selection. Overall, it was still a good experience, and I would consider returning.

We stopped by Demetres on the Danforth for dessert, and while the place was surprisingly empty at the time, the experience was still very positive thanks to the excellent service. The server was warm, attentive, and went above and beyond by helping us carry a stroller up the stairs, which was genuinely appreciated and set a great tone for the visit. For dessert, we shared two items and both were standouts. The Pecanchu on a crepe was absolutely delicious. It came with honey vanilla ice cream, oven-baked apple crisp, cardamom crème anglaise, and candied pecans. The combination worked really well — the apples and cinnamon were warm and comforting, the cardamom added a subtle depth, and the candied pecans gave a nice crunch. Everything balanced nicely without being overly sweet. We also ordered the Cherry Godmother on a waffle, which featured chocolate cashmere ice cream that was rich but not too sweet. The fudge brownies paired beautifully with the black cherry compote, and the slight tartness of the cherries helped balance the sweetness of the Belgian white chocolate. It felt indulgent without being overwhelming. Overall, Demetres delivered exactly what you want from a dessert spot: well-executed, comforting desserts and genuinely kind service. Even though it was quiet when we visited, the quality of both the food and the hospitality made it a place we’d happily return to for a sweet treat.

No doubt this location has high ratings and impressive reviews because they deliver. Their biscoff crepe and chocolate cheesecake ice cream are delicious. Rich in flavour and not overly sweet; yet tasty and satisfying! In addition to their desserts, service is extraordinary and friendly. Their customer service is excellent. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back.

First time at Demetres. We ordered the Splitsonian French Crepe and the Red Velvet Cheesecake. Each dessert was pretty big and shareable. I really enjoyed the Splitsonian the most. The crepe was well made and there was a lot of fruit outside and within. The cake was good as well but a little on the dense side. The restaurant is also really nicely decorated and I enjoyed the vibes. The servers were attentive and welcoming!
