My daughter was there for almost a year during which time she got hurt several times, once she was actually stabbed right between her eyes and has a permanent scar now. They wouldn’t even remove the snow shovels that hurt her, they still let kids play with them. Few months later they expelled her providing no reason why. Very unprofessional and unsafe place. Wouldn’t recommend at all.

My little one has been attending Downtown Montessori for 3 years. It is a wonderful school with excellent teachers and Managers. I have happily recommended the school to many family.

Great school. Our daughter is almost 4 and has been going to DTM for the past 2 years. Unlike the majority of the pre-schools in toronto who are more like a mom and pop type of schools, this school is very organized and professional with documented procedures. The facility was designed as a school in terms of being spacious, having floor to ceiling windows with lots of natural sunlight and a huge outdoor play area. No stairs so that is a huge advantage compared to other schools especially for younger kids. The 4 teachers at the under 3 were all awesome and caring. After that our daughter moved to Casa and the teachers are really special and I know they are treating her like one of their own. Our daughter is still asking about one of the teachers that moved out 6 months ago.

Best Montessori school and daycare ever! The staff are amazing I love all of them so much. I wish my son could still go there but he turned 6 and they only go up to grade 1. They are so amazing I begged them to open an elementary but they don't have the space lol. Honestly, my older two sons went to a different Montessori which I liked a lot, but nothing compares to Downtown Montessori Grand Trunk Cres. They are the best. I wished I had gotten them into downtown Montessori.

We love this daycare! It is very well-managed, has a great developmental program and provides a warm, caring environment. Our child was here for several years and each room and all staff were wonderful. They provide a structured Montessori environment that fostered independence, learning and creativity in our child. If there is ever an inevitable accident or incident (which can happen with kids), they provided care to our child, informed us right away whenever needed, and provided written information afterwards, as well. I really appreciated how they handled any inquiries or worries from us as parents. Often I felt like we received great support and guidance as first time parents, as well. It says something about a daycare when there is low staff turnover (some of the staff members have worked there for over 10 or 20 years), as well as clientele who have left and subsequently return to the centre after experiencing other childcare centres. There was an in-house chef for the meals and snacks for the children so the food is very good.
