  My daughter has attended 3 daycares in downtown Toronto due to various moves and this is hands down the best one. The care providers and management really go above and beyond to create an environment of love, fun, and compassion. Special shout out to the toddler room's weekly themes! We also really loved the Weekmarkable App and daily updates and stories of our girl. We were very sad to have to leave here, but our daughter thrived and learned a ton. Not the greatest outdoor space as it is all concrete, but it was good enough for them to have fun in. Really loved summer water play days! Plus there is a multi purpose room when there is inclement weather, so awesome! I highly recommend this daycare.

  Update: March 2019. Our big boy is still at the centre and I am so overly impressed with the centre and staff involvement with each and every child's development. My son is 2 and a half and knows and recognizes his name and the spelling of it. He also knows to count up to 13 and recognizes numbers up to 9. He knows and recognizes all the letters in the alphabet and knows a word that starts with each letter. Pinnacle daycare has been instrumental in assisting with potty training and all major milestones. Infant room teachers were amazing and nurturing, toddler room teachers immensely developed his mind and his love for education and now preschool room is preparing him for the big world and future kindergarten. Preschool room has taught him about his emotions, how to Express what he wants and needs and how to cope when things dont go according to plan. He has learned about sharing, making friends, expressing himself, listening, following directions, routines, eating habits, imagination play, the importance of reading and self directed play, he has learned more than I could have ever hoped for and he is truly the great kid he is today due to the professional and care that comes from the Pinnacle staff and their child development expertise. Great childcare centre. Staff are so experienced and kind. As of Oct 2017 our child has been at YMCA Pinnacle Daycare for 6 months now. I am a former daycare manager and have worked at several childcare centres so I understand daycares more than the average person. The teachers and daycare manager are unbelievable in the way they nurture and care for these groups of children. My son has the biggest smile on his face when we enter the building and almost leap into the infant teachers arms. The teachers are like his mom away from mom. I feel so secure going back to work full time knowing that my child loves to be where he is when I am not with him. The teachers in all the rooms know us and make an effort to know all the families. It's an amazing community at the YMCA Pinnacle and a big hand of applause to all the teachers and the manager who make this place as amazing as home for these developing little ones. My 15 month old has best buds in his class that he crawls to and lights up when he sees them, I never thought he would connect at such a young age. The teachers really enable the environment to be an amazing one, the kids are all so happy and it's a great place for fun and education. Love this place with all my heart!
