I had a very frustrating experience trying to book a full eye exam for my mother following her cataract surgery. When I first called, I was asked to complete a patient intake form. I submitted everything promptly and was told I would receive a callback to confirm an appointment for the same day at 1:00 PM. However, no one called. Two days later, I received a call—but instead of confirming the appointment, they asked whether the exam would be covered by OHIP or paid out of pocket. I confirmed it should be covered under OHIP. I was then told they would check with the doctor and call me back. Again, no follow-up. After a few more days, they called again—only to ask the exact same question about payment. Once again, I was told they needed to confirm with the doctor and would call me back. Still, no response. When I called them myself, I was told that Dr. Lee needed to confirm whether the previous exam was covered by OHIP. This back-and-forth with no resolution was extremely frustrating. For someone trying to book a full eye exam after surgery, this level of delay, poor communication, and repeated questioning is unacceptable. It shows a lack of organization and concern for patient care. I will be lodging an official complaint regarding this experience.

Dr Tim Lee is the best Doctor for our family. He is so professional, so knowledgeable, very friendly, accommodating, patient and most of all so caring and kind. He truly cares for his patients. He is thorough in doing all tests and always find time to explain in details the results, ensure his patients are comfortable and will be able to see clearly. His office has the best machines.
