She has classes for any level so you can join classes even if you’ve never done flamenco before (or any type of dancing for that matter). Because the classes are relatively small, she takes the time to help and give feedback to all students. I would highly recommend!

I definitely recommend this for everyone from beginners to advanced learners. There are some classes with a fair number of students, but Maria closely observes and guides each individual student. Maria is not only a top-notch dancer but also an excellent singer. During the lessons, you can dance to her singing! This is a great privilege, making the lessons more understandable and enjoyable. Understanding music is extremely important in flamenco, not just the choreography especially for those not from a Spanish cultural background. Therefore, being able to listen to her singing at all times helps in understanding the relationship between song and dance in flamenco. (Of course, a guitarist comes regularly.) I believe the level of the lessons is fairly high, so if you have less than 10 years of experience from other schools, I recommend starting with the beginner's class. Since the classes are organized into four terms, you can easily change the level of your class. Let's enjoy flamenco together with Maria!

I have been taking classes with Maria for a year and I have been improving my dance skills. She is warm and funny and have a wide knowledge about flamenco. She is such a great artist and also a good teacher. I definitely recommend her classes ❤️

If you love flamenco and want to learn flamenco dance and song, I can not recommend Maria Serrano enough. Maria is incredibly talented, passionate and driven - all her values are reflected in how she teaches this very strict dance form and she gets results! If you are new to flamenco, Maria will have you come back for more, and if you want to improve, she will deliver! Apart from her regularly scheduled classes, she may be available for privates (she is quite busy!). Currently she is holding tablao performances at her restaurant which is open to dancers of all levels. This is a great way to break out from the comfort of the classroom and get a taste of the performance bug.
