  We met Jeff and Lorna in 2011 when my son Nuhail was enrolled there. We had a fabulous year at Friends Daycare before we moved to Mississauga. Now when we are looking for daycares for our younger one, we dont like any coz the bar has been raised so high by Friends Daycare. I dont know why I never wrote a review for them before, but they are the absolute best people we got to care for our son. Words cannot express our gratitude. If you are looking for the best quality childcare you will find it here at Friends.

  I have had two kids go through this daycare. I really cannot speak highly enough of it. We have been through other daycares and there really is nothing like the "friends" experience. They create structure, but don't get bogged down by it. They offer life experience and spend as much as possible exploring through play as a teaching tool. Especially in their backyard oasis. They even offer music enrichment classes. One of the great things about friends is that there are children from the age of two to five all in the same room. Again, this offers a family experience. The staff are also excellent. They spend a lot of time working with the needs of you (yes, you) and your child. The staff here can tell exactly what kind of morning both you and your child have had when you arrive. And they truly help out when it's time to say goodbye to your little one. For anyone in the U of T area who wants an affordable and unique daycare experience, I highly recommend Friends.

  Our daughter was at friends daycare for two years and we cannot say enough amazing things about Lorna and the team- they set her up so perfectly for kindergarten. Everything from manners, social skills, literacy, a love of music.

  We put both our kids in at Friends Daycare from 3 years old all the way to junior kindergarten. This is a small to medium size daycare with an intimate, homey atmosphere. The owners, Lorna and Jeff, that run the place are super nice people that we instantly liked and trusted and after 4+ years they feel like family to us. Daycare for a toddler and the parent can be traumatic but Friends made the transition much easier. The place is on the top floor of a converted large house... so it feels like a home away from home. There's a nice shaded backyard where the kids play and a expansive auditorium/room on the ground floor for their Christmas concerts and special events. We highly recommend Friends Daycare and can't say enough nice things about them.

  I wish I could give 10 stars. Jeff was the first person we spoke to and I have not met a kinder soul. Lorna, Rudy, and Fameeda- the other teachers at the daycare are excellent human beings and educators. I cannot say enough good things about the people of Friends daycare. They made all of us, not only my child, feel welcome and included at Friends daycare. They coached us through the transition process, how to handle separation anxiety, etc. Jeff even gave me tips on how to fly long haul flights with a toddler. They have adequate facilities, good location, and a spacious driveway. They are reasonably priced when you take into account their location and exceptional service. On the last day of the daycare, I cried because it felt like leaving behind a family member. I would highly recommend Friends daycare to everybody and especially to anybody who is new to the country and parents who have a child who is starting daycare for the first time.
