Complete lack of humanity ripping off a senior. My father (who is a senior with a disability) was out in the cold yesterday afternoon waiting for a wheel trans after a visit to the Service Ontario. It was delayed so he stopped in and asked to use a restroom. He was told he couldn't unless he bought something. He asked to buy a pop and was told he would have to buy alcohol or he couldn't use the washroom. You folks forced a disabled senior on a fixed income who has a sick wife to take care of to buy a $8 shot of alcohol so he could use your restroom lest he pee himself. Truly shameful. Sincerely hope no one takes advantage of you or your elderly loved ones to make a couple extra bucks like this. Also, your staff are going to need a refresher on their AODA training.

Found the place for the Wednesday nacho deal. Can’t complain for $12.95. Was tasty. Great central location, lots of parking. Staff super attentive and friendly. Pop was flat and refills weren’t complimentary. Shouldn’t expect that just because chain restaurants offer it, that an extra charge wouldn’t be added to the bill. We should have inquired. Nice little view of the CN tower/skyline if you sit in a window booth facing SW 🏙️

To the rude owner’s response: First of all, I don’t understand your logic of my review being suspicious because I posted the same version across platforms. Your place was cold and what’s with the chicken skewer? We asked for an add-on to the salad and you forgot about it. For the price, ok I corrected it on my below review - $40+ for a soup and two salads, do you want me to update my TripAdvisor review too or keep it different to make it ‘less-suspicious’? Please admit your mistakes instead of attacking at me. Be professional and get your thoughts together please. Updated to 1-STAR due to this horrible attitude. I was reading through your below responses and you took them too personal. Highly recommend you to take some time off from social media and focus on your service. ————— My Original Review in Jan 2024 ————— I was very disappointed with this place. Despite its clean and spacious appearance from the outside and the overwhelmingly positive Google reviews, my experience fell short of expectations. The place was quite cold when we walked in, which may have been because of the timing of our visit, but it felt as if the heater wasn't on. The food was below mediocre. The Chef's Salad was nothing more than a basic garden salad. The chicken soup had only a few tiny chicken shreds. The Caesar Salad was ordinary, and the staff forgot about the extra grilled chicken which turned out to be greasy. Lastly, the price was surprisingly high. All of the above cost us more than $40... For the same price you can get a much more satisfying lunch at Swiss Chalet with roasted chicken, dessert and all. I would not recommend this place. Food (quality, creativity, consistency) - 2/5 Drinks (quality, variety) - NA/5 Ambience (interior design, cleanliness) - 3/5 Service (courtesy, knowledge, timeliness) - 2.5/5 Value (quality vs. price) - 1/5 OVERALL - 1.7

We had a great experience at the Frog & the Crown. The place looks nice and cozy, and the menu has a bunch of tasty choices. We started with the soup of the day and then had the chicken parmesan as the main course. The dish was a culinary masterpiece, featuring perfectly cooked chicken with a delightful crispy coating and a rich, savory sauce. As well, the portions were generous. Moreover, the service was absolutely great and attentive, which added to our overall positive experience. Plus, there's plenty of parking, especially in the evenings since it is located near a Service Ontario location. I'd recommend this restaurant and will definitely go back again.

I visited with my friend. We ordered 3 dishes and all of them were perfect! And the woman who served us (Sorry, we don’t remember her name) was incredibly kind! She recommended some properly cocktails that matched our tastes perfectly! Especially, the spinach warm salad was wonderful and now we’re just curious about the secret behind that salad lol!
