  *Updated review* My original review, posted in summer of 2023, is the second part of this post. July 2025 review: I cried twice when stepping out of this daycare, on the first day I left my daughter, because it was new and scary to have someone other than myself look after her, and on her last day, because it felt like we were leaving family. It is a warm and loving place. Mina, Kate, and Fanta, the educators who cared for my child, always have the children's best interests at heart, and are generous with their love and hugs, making them feel safe and seen. A new director started early 2025, Yalda, and she has made the most wonderful changes to the daycare, introducing new open ended toys and activities, and changing up the play space. There are weekly regular activities such as music and yoga, and field trips through out the year. The kids go outside every day (weather permitting of course), either to the park or to play in the outside space out back. The kids are separated within their age group for certain activities and meals, but otherwise they are encouraged to play alongside one another in a big open space, and this fosters all kinds of positive connections and interactions, little kids learning from the older ones, older ones learning about patience and being an example to younger ones, etc. My daughter really thrived during her time there. It is a daycare on the smaller side, and it feels like family. We miss it dearly and will always remember our daughter's time there with happy memories. Don't hesitate to sign your child up here, they will be looked after very well. Summer 2023 review: Excellent daycare. Mimi and her team are incredibly kind, attentive, and empathetic. I was worried about sending my 13 month old to daycare in general because she nurses to sleep and I couldn't fathom how she would fall asleep with someone other than me. This is the only place who told me it wasn't a problem at all and my baby would figure out how to sleep in this new setting even if she falls asleep a different way at home- this was so reassuring to hear (and not what I was told elsewhere, where the responsibility was put on me to train my baby to sleep independently in order for her to be able to sleep at daycare). Integration was so smooth and gentle, and yes, my baby does sleep at daycare, every day! A wonderful place, I feel confident leaving my child there, I know she is in the best hands. Communication with the staff is very open and honest. They take the children and babies to the park everyday, and they actually take the babies out of the strollers so they can play. I 10/10 recommend this daycare.

  I can't tell you all how much we love Nursery Les Bambins! Mimi and co are the most wonderful team of caring and attentive humans I have ever met. As a new mom, looking for a suitable daycare, I was weary to leave my child anywhere all day long. When I met Mimi and co, I felt immediately comfortable to do so, they treat her like part of their own family. My daughter loves to go to daycare everyday! What a relief it is to know that she is in such good hands. HIGHLY recommended :)

  Five Stars, couldn't recommend enough. I've sent both my kids to this daycare (my son is still there as my daughter is now at school) and leave them every day completely confident. My son has currently has been there for the last two years. The director changed from Mimi to Yalda in the last year and while we all loved Mimi, the transition has been so smooth with Yalda. The kids go outside every day, there are always activities, a backyard where they can play, the park next door, home cooked meals by Yalda, yoga class, music class, english and french activities, wonderful educators etc etc... It's a really wonderful place and I couldn't say enough good things about my children's happiness and development there!

  Really happy with this daycare! The educators are super warm and helpful, and my son (who is our first child) is always happy when we arrive and when I pick him up. He started at six months old and integration was great this past Fall. It's a small daycare and feels very homey. Since September, our son has only been sick once and I credit the level of cleanliness and size of the daycare for that. The owner Yalda is super involved, eager, and communicates well with parents. My mind is completely at peace when he is there. Keep up the amazing work!
