  I cannot recommend La Lune Sitters enough. We used the service for an evening event we had come to Montreal to attend. Our 1.5 year old was a little unsettled the whole trip so I was worried about leaving him with a nanny in our hotel room. However, as soon as Alejandra arrived my anxiety melted away. She had my child happy and calm almost immediately and had such a kind and caring demeanor. He actually had the best sleep of the trip on the night Alejandra watched him. If I ever need a sitter in Montreal again, there is no other choice. Well worth the professional fees! Thanks again, La Lune! :)

  We used La Lune to find sitters to watch our daughter when we went out to dinner several nights while vacationing in Montreal from out-of-town and had a great experience. The sitters were all extremely professional, communicative, prompt, and easy to work with. The booking process was also extremely smooth and we were sent profiles of our sitters with their childcare experience and client reviews in advance which also helped us feel comfortable having them watch our daughter. The owner Alejandra was very helpful with facilitating communication with our nannies when we had an issue with the messaging app. Would highly recommend La Lune!

  We used La Lune Sitters to babysit our daughter in our hotel room while my husband and I went to a show. We were soooo impressed with the process from start to finish. The idea of having your child stay with a "stranger" in a hotel room in another city is a bit intimidating, so I was extremely picky about finding the right babysitting service for our trip. La Lune ticked all the boxes! First, their reviews on every platform I could find were excellent, which is always a good sign. Second, the vetting process they describe is extremely stringent, and it's clear they only associate with the best of the best nannies. What really sold me on La Lune was their commitment to their nannies. The pay rates are fair, the nanny's privacy and safety is thoroughly protected throughout the whole process, and La Lune is openly and clearly committed to gender equality. It's easier to trust a company when you know they treat their nannies with this much respect. It must be intimidating as a nanny going to a stranger's hotel room, too, and I love that La Lune stands behind their people and prioritizes their safety. It's win-win for everyone. The registration process was full of lots of great questions about our care needs, and gave different budget options to select as well (the rate is grouped in tiers based on their experience.) When we had a nanny matched with us, we were linked to their profile, which included work experience and a long list of references. Shortly before the session began, La Lune linked us up with the nanny on Telegram for secure communication. Again, their commitment to privacy is top notch! The Nanny was extremely warm and open from the first hello, and soooo good at interacting with our daughter (and with her nervous parents!) We felt 100% at ease leaving the room. Our daughter is neurodivergent and can have pretty terrible anxiety, so we were delighted to return to find a calm and happy child who could not stop talking about how nice the Nanny was. I wholeheartedly recommend La Lune. They are worth every penny, and we'll for sure be enlisting their services the next time we're in Montréal.
