The most authentic food, servers, and owners. We come here often and couldn't be happier with everything. We've tried all their Filipino breakfast options and are happy.

Had a great brunch at Hermie’s! The ingredients were super fresh and you could really taste the quality in every bite. The service was so nice—everyone was welcoming and attentive. I especially loved the mushrooms and homefries; such a perfect combo. Definitely coming back!

Really enjoyed the authentic Filipino breakfast- longanisa and garlic fried rice at Hermie’s. They have a long list of traditional breakfasts on the menu but this is what sets them apart. We’ll be going back!

Been wanting to try this spot for a while and my boyfriend and I finally did ! A sweet small business right on bayview and we came for brunch this week. A Canadian x Filipino breakfast spot. I ordered the pan fried milkfish with garlic rice and egg, and my boyfriend ordered the longanissa with garlic rice and egg - wasn’t sure what to expect as I’ve only had these dishes at family gatherings (being half Filipino) and I felt blasted back to the past to when my grandma used to make food for me. Felt nostalgic :) Flavour was rich and authentic, so happy to have found this gem ❤️ support this restaurant !!

A large extensive menu and ample amount of food choices from breakfast to lunches. Love the low key and homey atmosphere that stands unique but also no frills. I enjoy the owner's sense of commentary, humor and interaction although some may consider it off putting, it is never ill-intended. Keep being you with the coolest/funny shirts. The food comes out piping hot, fresh and also "clean". Not greasy and perfectly made. The early bird deal is an amazing deal if you can make it. Lots of seating for different party sizes.
