My kids have had multiple teachers at High Park Music, both for piano and violin. I would definitely recommend it! My kids learned a lot and it really helped their marks at school. Also, the location is very convenient and prices are on par with other local lessons.

Initially I took a took a guitar lesson to learn how to play "happy birthday" for my daughter. Now it's two years (and several lessons later) later and I can play dozens of songs, read music, and have the ability to improvise and make my own music. Each lesson is encouraging and gives me a customized framework to practice between lessons. I'm continuously getting better and enjoying the process. My investment with High Park Music has certainly been a valuable one and I would recommend their services to anyone wanting to learn to play or get better.

High Park Music is a great place to learn music. Lori and Michael have assembled a talented team of instructors who share the same love of music and care for people that they themselves do. My son studied piano with Nadia for a number of years and she was enthusiastic, kind and inspiring. He had a few teachers over the years (outside of High Park Music) and Nadia was his favourite.

My eight-year-old son has been taking music lessons at High Park Music for a year now and quickly warmed to his teacher Nadia and her teaching style. I've been very impressed with the variety of piano music and styles introduced to him, the introduction to piano theory, the element of fun in learning piano as well as the novelty of experimenting with composition. Also impressed with the administration and organization of the studio, availability of lesson times and the weekly follow up notes that come by email so I can understand my son's progression and what he's learning. Nadia is patient, lovely, very musically skilled and has made music fun for my son. The studio is also conveniently located in a great neighbourhood.

My two kids take lessons here, piano with Maggie and guitar with Michael. Both kids are having a great time and have really enjoyed the experience. Both Maggie and Michael have done a great job at engaging and keeping the kids interest by letting them focus on songs they love. I enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and flexibility of the program.
