I recently visited Honest Restaurant for dine-in and had a great experience. I tried the Cheese Chutney Sandwich, Cheese Jam Sandwich, and the Bhakhri Pizza. The Cheese Chutney Sandwich was flavorful, with the chutney adding a nice spicy kick with the cheese. The Bhakhri Pizza was a highlight for me: crispy, loaded with toppings. The service was quick, and the staff was friendly. Overall, it’s a good place if you’re looking to try unique snacks with plenty of variety.

Pav bhaji(2.5/5) was okayish. I saw other positive reviews but I did not like it at all and I’ve had better experience in Hamilton branch. Nobody adds Jeera in pav bhaji. Indian style pizza(4/5) was good but quantity was not worth the price. Employees were sweet. Washroom was dirty and filled with mosquitos.

I ordered catering for 20 people, including pav bhaji and dahi vadas. The food quality and taste were excellent! A special thanks to Fenil for making the entire process smooth and hassle free, and to Shruti for helping load the large trays into the car. The customer service and food quality at this location have always been outstanding and never disappoint.

We went for there for having a good lunch but ended up spoiling our mood. None of the items were fresh ( seemed like yesterday's leftovers) other than sev puri and the unlimited menu is somehow for only 2 people (which it doesnt say) and not for a single person. The rules for the buffet are very silly and so avoid going there and ruin your time and mental health.

Stopped by today for a late lunch as we were in the area and menu looked to have variety of items like snacks, south indian and chinese. Ordered 3 items for 3 people in party and all of them had issues. Idly was very hard, so obviously not fresh. Masala dosa looked ok at that time, but people in party had stomach upset by evening. Bahubali Sandwich was underwhelming. Did not have the flavour of jam described in the menu. Had a sprinkling of what looked like some masala, but tasted more like dry chilli powder. We had a location in Ajax that closed down recently and this one was next closest one. I have had punjabi thali and pulav in Ajax location and it was good. We have had a party in our group that catered from this Scarborough location and it was good(but it was a custom menu), but dining in here was disappointing. Lesson learnt, don't order south Indian food from a primarily north Indian food based menu as ingredients would not be fresh. And in this case, even the sandwich, which looked great in the photo, but not taste. Waiter was polite and offered to bring something else after we complained about Idly, but by then, we had decided not to eat anything more from menu and headed home. With Ajax location closing suddenly, I can see Scarborough location heading that way. Place was not crowded at all, just one waiter, but tables cleaning took a while after people had left. And food being the way it was and lot of other options close by, I don't see how this place will stay open for long, unless they really shake things down.
