Julia is an incredible teacher. I am an adult student and I came to Julia with zero experience. I never had a chance to take piano lessons as a child and I was really nervous to start as an adult. Julia is very supportive and patient and her approach has really helped me to work through my anxiety and enjoy piano lessons. Learning a new skill as an adult can be rough going because there are moments when you feel like you'll never get it right and it's just too late for you to even start. It was Julia's positivity and enthusiasm that's kept me going through the difficult bits and nurtured my love for the instrument. I also really appreciate that Julia is willing to reschedule if something unexpected comes up. I've been Julia's student for about 8 months now and these lessons have made all the difference in my journey. I look forward to my lesson every week and I am so proud of how much I learned already. If you're on the fence about starting piano as an adult, I encourage you to go for it and highly recommend Julia, because a great teacher will make all the difference.

Julia is also very flexible which I appreciate with my busy schedule. Over the past year, I have greatly improved my piano skills. I’ve been taking piano lessons with Julia, and she is truly wonderful — especially for adults who are learning piano as beginners. It takes a lot of courage to start something new later in life, and Julia creates such a safe, encouraging, and warm environment that makes every lesson feel achievable. She is patient, kind, and always celebrates small progress, which really helps build confidence. I also really appreciate how flexible and understanding she is with scheduling, which makes it so much easier to fit lessons into a busy life. I’m really grateful to be learning with her.

My son had been taking piano lessons with another teacher for two years before we found Julia, but the progress he’s made in the two years since working with her has been incredible. My daughter started with Julia a couple of months ago, and we’re already seeing wonderful growth in her as well. Julia is patient, kind, and truly exceptional at connecting with children. She knows exactly how to motivate them, encourage their confidence, and make learning fun. I’m so grateful to have found such an amazing teacher for my kids. We highly recommend her!
