We only recently started with JLSD and we couldn’t be happier with our choice. Our daughter took part in a community center program prior to this, but never truly seemed to be excited by it. She absolutely adores all of her teachers and her class helpers. She spends the week in between classes talking non stop about how much she loves it and can’t wait to go back. We could not be happier with our decision to join the JLSD family and look forward to many years as part of the team! The prices are reasonable and competitive, the studio is lovely (lots of friendly faces) and so far our daughter is beaming after every class! Thank you 😊

My daughter has been dancing at JLSD for 2 years, and loves it. The entire staff/team are professional, passionate and love what they do. June Lawrence, is especially, passionate about her business and loves every dancer that walks through the door. She is very organized and has a strong team. The year end recital always impresses me. There is a lot of love and passion in everyone involved. They sure know how to put on a show! The studios are large, bright, and clean. JLSD consistently participate in community events and fundraisers for those in need. Truly a special place to introduce you child to dance, or pick up where they left off. As a former dancer myself, I can appreciate how fantastic this studio is.

We enrolled my daughter (5) with June Lawrence dance studio and we couldn't be happier. We've completed 1 full year (Sep-Jun) and she did Creative B (tap and ballet). During COVID-19 the studio was extremely safe and always had everyone's safety as a priority. There were times when my daughter was sick or had a symptom but she was always able to participate with the virtual zoom class. The studio is extremely organized and there is very good communication with weekly emails. We were impressed with the year end recital. It was quite a production at the Living Arts Centre. It wasn't too long and lots of variety of dances and there was a bit of humor too! There were awards given and I can see that the studio really cares as the awards were given to not only the best dancers but those that have improved. We are looking forward to next seasons dance program.

I can't speak highly enough of the adult dance classes offered at June Lawrence School of Dance. I have felt welcomed and part of the dance family from the moment I joined 3 years ago and can't wait to get back to class week after week. June is a phenomenal instructor with extraordinary amounts of passion for what she does, which she passes on effortlessly to the rest of the faculty she has working alongside her at the studio. Highly recommend this studio for adults who are just starting out or are looking to get back into dance again!
