If I could give more than 5 stars, I’d give 10! The customer service was exceptional. Thanks to Jay for the fantastic deal and the incredible birthday gift—the Yamaha NCX1! I strongly recommend KAOS store to everyone—it's the best music store around!!!

Edit: I guess I should add more context to this review. I had initially contacted this business with my issue and I followed up thinking that the issue was due to a guitar pedal I owned and thought the issue was resolved. The issue appeared again a few hours after following up with them without the use of any pedals, meaning the issue was the amp itself. Due to their return policy for consignment items I was unable to return the amp. At the end of the day they sold me a defective product and I had to spend my own time and money to fix it. I had a very disappointing experience at this store. I purchased an amp that was being sold on consignment, and when I got it home it turned out to be defective. The issue was present immediately, so it clearly wasn’t something that happened after I bought it. I understand how consignment works, but a store should still stand behind what they put on their sales floor — at the very least by checking whether the gear functions properly before selling it. Instead, I was left with a non-working amp and no real resolution.

As a long time pillar of the Kingsway neighbourhood, there was no doubt where I would sign up my daughter for lessons when she wanted to learn electric guitar. Antony is an incredible teacher and so patient. He really takes the time to listen to his students and pushes them to learn new skills. This is the perfect place for lessons if anyone wants to really get deep into music.

Kaos Music Centre is easily one of the best — if not the best — music stores in Toronto, especially for guitars of all kinds. The staff, and especially Luigi the store manager, spent hours with me helping to find the perfect electric guitar. He shared an incredible amount of useful information and explained what truly makes a great instrument. He is an incredibly cool guy, down to earth and the kindest person you will ever meet. They also helped to set my new guitar up. Their trade-in service is also excellent — they appraised my guitar on the spot and offered a fair quote, comparable to what you’d get on Facebook Marketplace. I honestly can’t say enough good things about this place. To top it off, they also offer great music lessons!

KAOS has been incredible for my son. For his 10th birthday we visited the KAOS store and Antony helped my son get up with his first acoustic guitar. We were able to sign up for weekly lessons with Antony, and the impact and growth has been huge. A year and a half later, my son now plays an electric guitar too, and has developed not only his skill but his passion for music and the role it has in his life. This has been such a positive experience; I am so very thankful we stumbled upon KAOS and Antony.
