Our family is a multilingual household and having the opportunity to speak to my son in a structured setting is invaluable. The teachers are super caring and engaged with your child's unique needs also which is hard to find!

  This is my son's second year at Lakehill and I'm so glad we stumbled across this preschool. I love their philosophy of learning through play and child centered learning. It has allowed my son to flourish on his own time. The parent participation is a great option, giving me a chance to see and participate in my son's learning. The parent education is fantastic as well. Even when I was partial participation, I still went because it's like training for parents! I recently found out that Lakehill has been operating for over 40 years and our ECE has been there for 20+ years. I keep coming across people (my neighbours, for example) whose children of all ages went to Lakehill. Such a great community to be a part of.

  I sent both my babies to Lakehill and cried when our time there ended. The teachers are the kindest and most supportive people. The indoor space is lovely and the teachers are very intentional in setting up different learning opportunities in a free play environment. The outside space is gorgeous and full of opportunities for children to explore and play. This was such a beautiful start to the schooling experience and I will treasure the four years we had at Lakehill.

  When I first moved back to Victoria with my family 3 years ago I felt quite isolated and had a hard time settling in and meeting other families. I signed up my older daughter at a coop preschool (Lansdowne, unfortunately not around anymore) the following year and felt and instant sense of community and enjoyed working in the classroom and getting to know all the kids and parents. When my second daughter was ready for preschool i signed her up at Lakehill and I’m so happy I did. The teachers are wonderful and the activities engaging and great outdoor play area. I’d recommend this preschool to anyone! It’s great way to learn how a preschool is run and great to contribute to give back to the community.
