I was very disappointed with my experience at little bugs nursery. My LO only ended up going there for 6 months, and main reason for changing his daycare was how decisions seemed mostly profit based. Upon choosing this daycare we were told they had applied for the CWELCC funding, which they ultimately did not go through with. I was also concerned by the high turnover rate of teachers. Our experience with the teachers was good but they never stayed long. I was also frustrated with when giving our notice of withdraw the policy states we are required to give 1 months notice (it does not specify that the notice needs to occur by the first of the month) so they kept 6 weeks payment when my son only attended 3 days. They would have had 2 weeks to fill the spot for August but instead told me they were holding his spot which I informed him we would not use. So just beware it is a for profit organization and is run with that as it’s priority.

Our son has been at Little Bugs for 3 months now, and we couldn't be more pleased with our experience. He was happy and comfortable from the start, thanks to the amazing support from all of the caregivers - the staff treat the children like a member of their family. The healthy & nutritious meals they offer have made our lives so much easier, and allowed our son to explore so many different foods that he probably wouldn't have at home. The programming they offer is exceptional and we have seen such a marked difference to our son's development since he started. The daily updates from HiMama are great in giving us peace of mind and allow us to follow him along on his journey, while still providing him independence and space. The centre really makes an effort in building a community by incorporating a lot of parent-involvement through fun after-school activities. When it comes to our children, we all want nothing short of the best, and we believe Little Bugs provides him with just that. Thank you for all you do, you are building the future.

I am very sad that we only had 10 glorious months at Little Bugs before our son moved on to kindergarten. Cannot recommend this centre enough. The owner has built a wonderful childcare community that feels like a family. The centre supervisor and all of the teachers are highly educated and trained. The care, facilities, activities, food, etc. are all of the highest quality. My son, husband and I always felt safe, secure and happy and what's a better feeling than that when looking for childcare for your kids? 10/10 would recommend!
