  This daycare is wonderful. We have our two children there and have been with them for over a year. They take wonderful care of our kids, providing a nurturing environment and keep us updated about the happenings each child has. I was personally present at the event below that Tyna wrote. She is a partner of a parent whose child is registered at Mon Petit. She is not legally allowed to pick up the child she is writing about as it requires approval from both of the child's biological parents. I was there when the daycare staff were calm and compassionate explaining to Tyna that they cannot release the child into her care. Tyna stood around the front door swearing and being rude to parents coming in trying to pick up their children. She refused to leave and caused a security concern for parents. I am personally so happy to see Mon Petit stick to their security protocols and not let anyone who isn't registered to pick up a child in their care. Thank you to all the staff at Mon Petit for all they do. The kids are happy and loved there.

  This daycare is exceptional, and the staff act professionally at all times. We could not be happier with the level of care that Daphne and her staff provide. Unfortunately, there is a negative review above that I feel the need to address. I was present during this incident, and the staff could not have acted more professionally. As a certified Ontario teacher, I am aware of the professional responsibilities of those in a position of care, and the staff behaved admirably. They were polite, but firm, and this reinforced my comfort level with this daycare, as they showed that the children would not be allowed to leave without the proper authorization. I would recommend this daycare to anyone.

  Our daughter has attended Mon Petit Univers for over a year, first beginning in the toddler room & now currently in the preschooler room. When we were looking for a daycare for her, we interviewed at several daycares in this area. We wanted to make sure her daycare was a place she would feel comfortable with since she would be there all day, every day. When we met Madame Dafenide, we were sure immediately that this was the right place for her. Mon Petit is a daycare that is engaging, provides structure & most importantly is a fun learning environment for our daughter - She’s able to have full conversations in both French & English! Our daughter absolutely adores her teachers; she is excited to see them each morning, greeting them with hugs upon arrival & cheerfully telling stories about them & the fun activities she does at ecole every day. We receive a daily progress report of her activities & behaviour & now that she’s a preschooler we’ve received a formal evaluation report of her progress to date. It’s wonderful seeing how much she’s learning & growing all because of their amazing program & all of the attention she receives there. We’re so happy with Mon Petit Univers, our daughter loves it here & we could not imagine her attending daycare anywhere else!

  My daughter went to Mon Petit Univers for over one year and she loved it. Daphne is an extremely nice and helpful person. She always found a way to accommodating to our needs and provide our daughter with the best attention. We knew of one issue with one senior caregiver but Daphne made the immediate decision of removing that person from the staff. It was so sad because our girl loved that person, but that was the right thing to do. Other than that, our experience was always pleasant, we felt our daughter was safe and well treated. Daycare in Toronto is expensive, but given the high quality of this place, we found it very reasonable. Highly recommended.

  My son (4 years) and daughter (2 years) have attended Mon Petit Univers since November 2018. Our son participates in the before and after school program and our daughter attends full-time. We are very happy with our experience at the daycare, from the level of care our children receive, to the healthy food program, and our day-to-day interactions with the Director, teachers and staff. We also love the introduction to French that our children receive, both of our kids now know their numbers and alphabet in English and French, and our daughter is almost bilingual from starting at the daycare from such an early age. We love the love that our children receive. We know the kids are happy and safe and that they enjoy their time at Mon Petit Univers; this is evidenced by the way they run into the daycare in the morning to receive giant hugs and love from their teachers. There is a real family feeling about the daycare and we experience it every day that we walk in. It's never easy to leave your children and go on to work in the morning but Mon Petit Univers makes it easier because I know that they are loved, happy, entertained, attended to, and above all, safe. Thank you to the staff for doing such a wonderful (exhausting) job!
