I just graduated from the Senior Choir, and I can confidently say that being a part of the Mississauga Children’s Choir has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. It’s an incredible place to grow not only as a musician but also as a person. The conductors and staff are all passionate, supportive, and truly dedicated to helping each singer reach their full potential. I’ve learned so much, built lifelong friendships, and have had so many unforgettable experiences along the way. MCC is a wonderful, welcoming community, and I’m so grateful to be part of it!

We have been so happy with our child's experience in the Cantiamo (young children's choir) at the MCC. The music instruction is top-notch: not only are they learning to sing in a group, they are being instructed on the foundational principles of music. Our instructor Eveli at the Tomken location has been amazing—so knowledgeable, skilled, friendly, and patient. Her assistant Ana is incredible as well. We enjoy that there are multiple concerts a year! I would love to have more opportunities to come watch them sing in the class as well, though. :) Thank you so much to the director Caroline for welcoming us into the MCC and for the overall great experience here.

My daughter was part of the Cantiamo program this past year, and had an amazing experience. The staff were wonderful with working with young children, and my daughter came out beaming and excited after every rehearsal. For a program for kindergarteners, Cantiamo did a fantastic job of balancing having a challenging and interesting program with a huge range of work (different languages, singing styles, etc) while not having unrealistic expectations for their age, which is an impressive feat. We appreciate the inclusivity and diversity of the choir and the organization; we felt welcome from the very start and have enjoyed getting to know the MCC community. My daughter is excited to join Training Choir next year and we are looking forward to seeing her love of singing grow.

My daughter has been a member of MCC for the past two years, starting in Training Choir and moving up to Junior Choir this year. Great care is taken to ensure that all choristers are immersed in many genres of music as well as a wide cultural variety of composers. Workshops supplement the wonderful work the conductors are already doing with the choristers. Experiencing the thrill of performing 4 times per year plus the Junior Treble Festival and the Peel Music Festival has given my daughter confidence, an understanding of performance etiquette and the commitment to the choir as a team member. MCC is a gem and would recommend it to any parent considering having their child join a choir.

I am delighted to share our incredible experience with the Mississauga Children's Choir (MCC) over the past six years. My daughter has been a proud member since her training choir days, and our journey has been nothing short of extraordinary. One of the standout features of this choir is their innovative approach to music education. Be it through popular drumming workshops held in the church parking lot or through various collaborations with artist doing video recordings for their albums or through performances together with the Mississauga Symphony Orchestra. These participations have not only added a rhythmic flair to the choir's repertoire but have also created a unique and engaging musical experience for the children. MCC is committed to providing diverse and enriching opportunities for its members. The talent nurtured within the choir, leaving the audience in awe after every concert and performance. The challenges posed by the pandemic did not hinder the choir's dedication to its members. Through Zoom sessions, they not only maintained the momentum of musical practices but also kept the choristers' interest alive. This adaptability and resilience ensured a sense of continuity during uncertain times. What sets MCC apart is their commitment to holistic development. The organization's thoughtful planning of weekend retreats, both locally and abroad, has provided my daughter and her peers with unforgettable experiences and wonderful memories. These retreats not only fostered a sense of camaraderie among the children but also exposed them to different musical influences. As a parent, I've found that encouraging my child to stick with their classes can be quite challenging. Kids can easily lose interest if the classes don't captivate their attention. But we are immensely grateful for the transformative journey Mississauga Children's Choir has provided for our daughter. They have made the learning experience fun and engaging and created an environment that fosters genuine enthusiasm. I wholeheartedly recommend Mississauga Children's Choir to any family seeking a nurturing and inspiring musical environment for their children.
