  My daughter received excellent support during her tutoring sessions with Oxford Learning. She experienced both the in-person and online offering. Her sessions allowed her to gain the skills she needed to boost her academic performance in school and build her confidence as both a student and individual. She has been able to find success at school even during this roller coaster of a year. If you feel that your child is not reaching their potential, you should give OL a try, its never too late!

  I highly recommend this centre! We’ve seen a big improvement in our kids’ reading and writing skills in just a few months of attending the centre. The education director, Maureen, and tutors are all friendly and professional. The regular progress updates are great and recommendations on education plans are on point and inline with what we observe at home as well.

  My son has attended Oxford Learning Center for four months now, but we haven't seen any improvement in his academic performance. The center's excuse was that they needed a minimum of six months to see improvement, but I believe that four months is more than enough time to expect some positive change. What's more, the center charges three times more than other tutoring centers, so I expected to have highly qualified teachers. Unfortunately, apart from one tutor who is in teacher college, the rest of the tutors are not qualified teachers, which has been very disappointing. Additionally, my son's tutor kept changing frequently, so there was no consistency with tutors. To sum up, I would not recommend Oxford Learning Center to other parents who are looking for a tutoring center.

  It gives me superb pleasure to write a review of the Oxford, Aurora location on behalf of my family who enjoyed their services for over two years. The staff, (in particular, Maureen who was always so accommodating), ensured our learner's skill set in the tutoring environment met the teachers' expectations in the classroom. The staff (Dana at the time) even went so far as to reach out and contact the teacher directly in the event there was ever a disconnect between what was being tutored on site versus in the classroom. This ensured knowledge gaps in learning were kept at bay. Most particularly as COVID wreaked havoc on our young children's learning, Oxford was a tremendous support to the family in times of great need ensuring our learner was on track with all provincial requirements and expectations. The interchangeability between in person and online tutoring was executed with great precision and care. What we enjoyed most was knowing there were additional expert eyes and ears on the learners individual needs so that between school and home and Oxford, there were no educational components lost or risk of losing accumulated learning that may have somehow slipped through the cracks with so much change. Oxford consistently supported our erratic schedules and never made us pay the price for having insanely busy lives. The best part? Our learners grades improved and all tests were passed with high marks! What a great feeling of preparation in time for graduation and High School! Thank you Oxford! We will miss you!
