We feel incredibly lucky to be part of the painted wombat community. Because that's what this amazing preschool is. Miss Shauna is a fantastic educator - I have volunteered a few days in the school and have witnessed this first hand. The kids adore her (and the other teachers as well!). The beautiful art is just the cherry on top of an amazing learning experience. 10/10 recommend.

One year at painted wombat wasn’t enough. Hands down the best pre-school experience we could have asked for. Shauna is equally as kind as she is creative. My daughter came home excited about learning and always eager to share what they did each day. Each piece of art they created felt intentional and has left us with so many creations we can’t throw out. It felt like being in a family when we were at Painted Wombat. Worth every dollar.

The teachers' kindness, patience, and encouraging nature are exceptional, and the bright, engaging environment sparks endless creative exploration. A personal highlight was always the two art shows a year, showcasing the amazing and imaginative work completed throughout the year.

Our little girl absolutely loved Painted Wombat! She learned numeracy and literacy in such a fun and creative way. Her excitement for preschool never faded. I still remember her doing a cartwheel on the first day of her second year because she was so happy to be back. We feel so lucky and blessed that she got to spend two wonderful years there. The twice-a-year Art Show is truly stunning. It shows just how much love and dedication the teachers put into celebrating the children’s beautiful work.

We absolutely love this fine art preschool. The teachers are truly exceptional, caring, kind and incredibly thoughtful with the children. They create such a safe, nurturing environment while also being extremely talented educators. You can tell they genuinely understand early childhood development and know how to bring out each child’s creativity and confidence. My son feels seen, supported and excited to learn every day and as a parent that means everything. We are so grateful for Shauna and all the love she pours into this school and her amazing team behind it ❤️
