Parliament Ice Cream Shoppe is a sweet addition to Cabbagetown!! The star of the show (for me) is undoubtedly their creamy, dreamy, and oh-so-smooth soft serve! What elevates this spot is their fresh waffle cones, and awesome staff! Frances, Mary, Maggie and Peter (to name a few) are smiling and singing along to the radio!

Ordered the soft serve twist in a waffle cone. Flavours were good, but the chocolate portion was quite grainy. Appreciate the freshly made waffle cone, but found it to be overwhelmingly thick near the bottom. No gluten free cones available and not stroller friendly/wheelchair accessible.

The latte and brownie was a disappointment. The browie is not made in house. The ice cream was good. The young server was friendly.

Tried out the new ice cream shop on Parliament. What a welcome to the neighborhood. They have many flavours to choose from and some sorbets too. Their in-store made waffle cones are a must try! Looking forward to going back and trying other delicious flavours this summer.

For those looking for a good ice cream shop in the Cabbagetown area, Parliament is the answer. The space is brand new and full of eye-catching details, from the outdoor seating area to the light decorations inside the sales area. The ice cream shop has two areas for you to enjoy your ice cream: an outdoor area with wooden benches, where you can bring your dog along, as they are pet-friendly, and the dining area, where there are a few tables and chairs along with the sales area. In addition to the many ice cream and topping options to complement your order, they also offer non-alcoholic beverages and some sweet and savory treats. For customers with disabilities or limited mobility, the establishment has steps to both the patio and the sales area. Additionally, the restroom is located in the basement, and access is only by stairs. They do not have a Braille menu or access to the automatic opening and closing door. For those traveling with children, the restroom doesn't have a changing table, but it's extremely clean. The ice cream shop has a wide variety of flavors, and you can ask to sample if you're unsure about a specific flavor. The service is excellent, and orders are made quickly and with great care. It's definitely worth a visit.
