This review is specifically for the new Keele location. I had high expectations and really wanted to like this place, especially since it’s one of the few halal Jamaican spots around. Unfortunately, it just wasn’t worth it. They didn’t have any patties, the food was cold despite an hour-long wait, and the service at the ghost kitchen was disappointing. On top of that, the pricing doesn’t match the quality or portion size. If you’re interested in trying Patty Cake and Ice Cream, I’d recommend going to the original Scarborough location instead it might be better—this one is a big miss.

"I recently placed my very first order with this establishment, and I must say that I am thoroughly impressed by the overall experience. In an era where takeout quality can be inconsistent, this place managed to hit every mark perfectly. From the moment I picked up the bag, I could tell that they prioritize customer satisfaction through generous portions. The quantity of the food was exceptional, providing a hearty and satisfying meal that felt like a great value for the price point. It is rare to find a place that doesn't skimp on the main ingredients, and this spot certainly delivers a full plate. Beyond the sheer volume of the food, the culinary execution was top-tier. The flavors were balanced and well-developed, but what I appreciated most was the restraint shown with the seasoning. Many similar restaurants tend to overcompensate by loading their dishes with an overwhelming amount of peppers, which often masks the actual flavor of the ingredients with excessive spiciness. Here, the spice level was handled with expertise—it was present enough to provide a nice kick, but it wasn't 'too spicy' or cluttered with unnecessary peppers. This allowed the high quality of the meat and vegetables to really shine through. Furthermore, the logistical side of the meal was handled perfectly. Even though it was a takeout order, the food arrived (or was picked up) remarkably warm. There is nothing more disappointing than lukewarm takeout, but this meal retained its heat beautifully, suggesting they use high-quality packaging and timed the preparation perfectly with the pickup time. The overall quality of the ingredients was evident in every bite; the textures were spot on, and the food felt fresh rather than mass-produced. This was a stellar first impression, and I will definitely be returning to explore more of their menu soon

Bought a case of beef patties, and they did not disappoint! I only wish there was more filling and a bit more of a kick for heat. It was beautifully made. I reheat them in the oven, and they came out perfect. Perfect for after school meals or a light bite, and even a midnight snack!

Hands down, the best Halal Jamaican patties in Toronto! 🔥 I can't believe I just found out about this gem on Eglinton East, Toronto! The chicken patty I had was absolute fire — bursting with rich Jamaican flavour, perfectly flaky, and clearly made fresh. You can really taste the homemade quality in every bite. 🙌 Prices are very affordable, and everything is Halal, which is a big plus. I’m already looking forward to coming back to try their stuffed patties and sandwiches next time! If you're craving authentic Jamaican patties made with care, this spot is a must-try. Definitely our new go-to for patties in Scarborough!

I was in the area and I’ve heard a lot of good things from them. I decided to try them out and see for myself. I had the Jerk Chicken Mac n Cheese and their Beef Jamaican Patties. My God I’ll tell you, easily one of the best Pattie’s you’ll ever have. The lady at the front was very generous and kind, gave me an extra Jamaican Patty. And the brother in the back came out and gave me a free water bottle as well. The mac n Cheese wasn’t bad, just a little dry but the taste was great. The Jerk chicken was juicy and tender, very lovely food they have here. Only thing was I was waiting for 25+ minutes for the Mac n Cheese, Id hope next time they speed up the order. Nonetheless excellent service and food. I’ll come next and try their oxtail and famous cheesecake! Very well deserved spot to try out! I’d definitely recommend friends and family to come. Especially being a Halal friendly place, it’s excellent for the Muslim Community!
