Jason’s group lessons at pro guitar studio were a big disappointment for me. I was told I’d be placed in a group that fit my level after he heard me play, and I got pushed into paying for a month of weekly classes on the spot. The 'lessons' ended up being a bunch of people scattered around the room playing whatever they wanted while he walked around diddling on his guitar and watched. One time he showed us a song for a couple of minutes, then everyone just turn up their amps and noodled. there was almost no actual instruction or feedback unless I specifically chased him down to ask if I was doing something right. It felt more like a paid hangout than real guitar teaching, and for the money it was a waste of time.

Whether you’re just starting off, or more experienced, pro guitar studio gives you a fun, engaging and fulfilling way to learn more. Since attending ive learned how to play some of my favourite songs, and explore numerous techniques and I look forward to what I can explore next.

Jason is an excellent guitarist and a wonderful teacher. He is kind and down to earth as well as incredibly skilled and knowledgeable about music. Pro Guitar Studio is a safe and comfortable place to learn, the other students are respectful and friendly, and parking is always easy. My guitar playing abilities have improved dramatically over the past year - compared to when I was trying to learn on my own. In class, we cover a variety of genres and techniques. I look forward to my lessons every week, would highly recommend! :)
