Amazing school with talented teachers. Produces technically beautiful dancers. Many that have gone on to professional careers. They encourage team work and friendships among the students. Lots of options for dancers from recreational classes to intensive classes for a more pre-professional experience. End of the year show is done in a professional theatre which provides a wonderful experience for the students. Their children's dance company travels, performs and competes all over the GTA. Beautiful studios with high end equipment. Even have live pianists for some ballet classes. Just a very professional school that gave me a lot of confidence as a dancer. I spent 18 years training here and wouldn't hesitate to bring my children here as well.

My daughter has been a part of the PSB & Interplay Dance Academy since she was 4 years of age and 10 years later she continues to dance 17+ hours a week and LOVES it! Miss Karen and the staff at PSB are exceptional! They are highly esteemed and qualified and demonstrate unwavering care and commitment to each and every dancer. While instilling a genuine love of dance, staff care for the well- being of each dancer thereby creating a safe but challenging atmosphere where each student strives for their personal best and thrives in a “ family- like” atmosphere. As a result, the skills developed by the dancers not only include high caliber dance techniques and creative, artistic expression but also foster life skills such as confidence, resiliency, nutrition and health awareness and teamwork which transfer to everyday life. This is evidenced by current students as well as the many accomplishments of the PSB & Interplay’s alumni. The Academy provides many opportunities for dancers outside of the regularly scheduled classes including ballet workshops, guest choreographers and international dance competitions and intensives. PSB & Interplay Dance Academy is absolutely the BEST as they help all dancers make their dreams a reality!

My child is 3 and is showing an interest in dance - classes are led by teenage students, and there's an additional charge of $145 over and above the annual cost if you want your child to participate in the recital (and then you also have to purchase tickets to the recital, which I'm told are $35). I would have pulled my daughter but it took someone from PSB so long to get back to me that I missed the city registrations. Having done both city classes and now this programming I would suggest parents of young students save their money and register with Toronto FUN. There is literally no difference.

Our daughter has been dancing with this school since she was 3. She was just accepted to summer ballet programs in Austin and Boston this year. We are so excited for the experience, opportunities, and talents she has developed while dancing at PSB.

My daughter attended PSB & Interplay Dance from 2023 to 2025 for ballet, hip hop, and jazz, never joined in intensive program, and I always paid on time and followed their rules. Last summer, we bought their $1,350 “Pre-Tax Package” but did not enroll in the full-year intensive program. Despite that, they automatically charged my card multiple times—nearly $2,000 total—and ignored my emails/phone calls for clarification and refund. Only after I went in person did they refund part of it. Later, when she stopped classes due to heavy school workload, I followed their rules and paid first/last month as required, but they refused to refund the remaining tuition despite repeated outreach—most messages ignored. We only attended 1 class, yet were charged $1,350 even after agreeing to first/last month. I’ve tried handling this privately, but their lack of transparency and unauthorized charges are extremely disappointing. They show very poor business ethics. Parents: caution before enrolling or making advanced payments at Interplay Ballet School.
