An outstanding gem! We found Rouge Kitchen while looking for a gluten free restaurant near Rouge National Park. The entire menu can be made gluten free, and they had lots of options to choose from. My wife and I had the grilled cheese, which was a good choice for the cool fall weather outside. There is a great selection of baked treats to choose from as well! The owners were super nice and we loved talking with them while we ate lunch. If I lived in Toronto I would eat here all the time. Thanks for making our anniversary trip a special one!

This is an incredible, truly Canadian and family-run place. The woman at the counter treated my friend and I better than my own mother, excellent service that I needed to highlight first. They had "poutine hot dog" combo which who I assume was the owner thought up that morning as a special for the game that night. Equally unhealthy as it was delicious as a pre-game meal, readied me for Game 2 disappointment. My friend got a chicken sandwich, one of the best he's had. They have a weekday deal, where fries are included in any purchase of a sandwich or burger (I might've gotten that mixed up). I wish I lived closer, I would be going weekly. Honest, hard working people making down to earth food made with care.

Wish I'd found this lovely independent place sooner. Just had their Beets and Sweets salad, I added chicken. Amazing fresh greens, delicate goat cheese, roasted beets and yams, with lovely candied maple walnuts. Can't find ingredients this fresh at the grocery store. Prices very reasonable. Gluten-free and Keto easily accommodated. And no matter how busy it is, staff are always friendly and personable. A gem. Highly recommend.

I was a little worried at first… sometimes these one off restaurants are a little …. How do I say …shitty … but man it was I wrong! It was DELICIOUS 🤤 !! I had the chicken quesadillas they were fresh to order and so yummy! My partner got a RK burger and fries (fries were part of the special no added charge) Also, as I didn’t eat enough the pastries all looked so good… we got the tarts and gooey, soft, sweet deliciousness!!! Mmm! No wonder they have a 4.9 star ⭐️ rating. Staff were very friendly, and owner is sweet as pie! 🥧 Excellent!! 🌟🌟🌟

This is an outstanding gluten-free and keto takeout joint on the outskirts of Scarborough - 8 minute drive from the Toronto Zoo. There are two seats for waiting and eating if you wish. Friday fish and chips were just outstanding, and we liked the GF chocolate chip cookies as well. Hot chocolate was tasty and the smoothies were crazy blue. We want to come back and try the burgers and sandwiches, all of which can be made GF. Dedicated GF fryer so we had no issues with wheat here, and there are no peanuts used. Staff were friendly and helpful and more importantly got our food out in great time. Thank you!
