I was in the area walking and wanted to grab something to eat. I went online to check the reviews and, honestly, I wasn’t too impressed with what I saw. Still, the food pics—though almost a year old—looked absolutely delicious, so I decided to give it a shot. I figured I’d order something small to test out the service. I asked the girl at the counter how long it would take to get an appetizer (which I won’t mention). She went to the back to ask the two chefs, who gave a very concerning look and didn’t seem to know how to respond. She then brought a menu back to them, pointed at the item, and asked again how long it would take. They still seemed unsure. Eventually, they said about five minutes—but even then, they didn’t seem confident. At that point, I decided not to order anything. I’d like to say “better luck next time,” but I don’t think I’ll be back. Sorry!

I have been ordering from this restaurant for years now. The servers and old kitchen staff know me well. There must have been a change in management or kitchen staff, because my last 3 orders have been wrong. Today is order the steak, shrimp with veggies. I got only 1 piece of asparagus, no gravy for my potatoes and the steak is cooked well done, even though I requested Medium. Last week I ordered in store and asked for a plain burger with only ketchup. When we for home all the topics were on the burger, my kid wouldn’t eat it. 2 weeks ago I ordered breakfast, with potatoes instead of fries. The potatoes came with hollandaze sauce and onions all over them.

Had a wonderful simple breakfast, each of us having their Eggs Benedict dish, which consists of three eggs on traditional English muffins. A nice touch having that delicious egg and sauce. Hash browns (potatoes) are homemade, baked and slightly spicy. Although I would have preferred for them to be a little more spicy and crispy, I am glad that they were not fried and supplied by a food provider. Coffee was very good as was the OJ. Service was very friendly and professional. It took a little longer to receive our meals, but I wasn't in a rush. The reason may be cause they were busy filling delivery orders, which is in itself a good sign.

Just ordered fish and chips from Royal Bistro used to love this place I was so disappointed today the fish and chips was disgusting it was old grease used for the fries and the fish. The batter was dark brown on the fish tartar sauce was old it is nothing like I used to get there was more batter than fish. I used to love going to Royal Bistro the fish and chips was always amazing as everything else on the menu was. Must be under new ownership hours have changed in the food is just horrible will never go back. Sad to see such a great place go downhill so fast.
