Extremely good study space for Ryerson Students! Enjoy the various floors with different themes to keep your study space new and refreshing. Every floor has a different theme from sky, to the beach, to a forest. It is hard to keep it only to Ryerson students due to its location, but security tries their best. Also, there is a starbucks on the main floor available to students. I reccomend the 8th floor for group work, and the 7th floor for Individual studying. SLC is open under Covid last I checked.

Another good university here in Toronto. Compare to University of Toronto, this university has a Much more modern vibe. For example, the ryerson student learning centre is one of their newest buildings of their campus. Not only does it equipped with modern technological element in their building design. This building is also right in the centre of Toronto downtown. Students can enjoy a variety of restaurants and shopping centre right outside of their classroom

Toronto has an impressive collection of buildings that utilize architecture to convey a message or simply to stand out from the crowd. Some of them are difficult to analyze and describe, defying one's capacity to find a logical explanation for their design, but definitely achieving what seems to be their main goal, namely attracting the attention of passersby. In the end, the main criterion is simple and it revolves around your appreciation - or lack thereof - of the structure that managed at the very least to capture your attention.

One of the most unique student learning centre buildings I've ever seen! Gorgeous architecture interior and exterior this building has a lot to offer to students and I have found it extremely useful for studying purposes! The building is well-maintained and a shining beacon for Ryerson University! The Starbucks on the main floor is also a great addition to this building as it makes it extremely convenient to go grab coffee while on a busy exam-work schedule!

The institution was established in 1948 as the Ryerson Institute of Technology, named after Egerton Ryerson, a prominent contributor to the design of the public school system and teachers' college in Canada West. In 2022, it was renamed Toronto Metropolitan University, in response to concerns about Egerton Ryerson's influence on the Canadian Indian residential school system. In 2015, the Student Learning Centre was completed adjacent to the library building. The Image Centre is a 4,500 m2 (48,000 sq ft) complex located on campus that serves as a photography museum and houses School of Image Arts. The Image Centre includes several galleries, with one dedicated for exhibit works from students of the School of Image Arts. The centre also holds offices, screening rooms, and storage facilities for the university's photographic collection; stored in special climate-controlled rooms.
