  This was my third time coming here for brunch, and unfortunately it will be my last. The prices have increased a lot, but the portion sizes are the same. I ordered chicken and it was extremely salty. I waited for our server to come back and check on us so I could ask for a replacement, but she never returned after serving the food — even though my husband and I were very hungry. When I asked another server for napkins, I never received any. I don’t understand why the staff don’t communicate with each other or how the service is managed. The service has gone downhill. The server recommended the food and said it was “amazing,” but it definitely was not. She also made comments like “your table looks nice,” which felt unprofessional and not appropriate. Most importantly, she never came back to ask how the food was or if we needed anything. I’ve been here before so I knew what to expect, but this was the first time for my husband and he was disappointed with everything. The chicken was very salty (maybe the kitchen staff has changed). The food looked good but did not taste good. My husband also ordered extra pork sausage and it had a strong unpleasant smell. I took one bite and threw it away, but he finished it only because he was still hungry. The dining area is very small and crowded, and the ventilation is poor. It felt stuffy and the smell inside was not pleasant. For the price, it’s not worth it. I’ve had brunch at Earls and the food and service were much better. I won’t be coming back.

  What a pleasant delight to find such a vibrant location in downtown Toronto that offers great food! I suspect everything on the menu is fantastic because my family and I all ordered different items and they were all a 10 out of 10! The highlight of our breakfast was Katrina (Kat)! She is a beautiful soul and such a genuine, fun and wonderful young lady! We felt like we knew her for years and not just over one meal. We would come back just to eat and chat with her again and again!

  We decided that place based on review but this is overrated. • Food (3/5): The portion is good. I got the Shaksuka but it was completely cold maybe the dish is aim to be eaten like that. Price is a bit expensive especially for the drinks. $7 for an americano… • Decor (4/5): The interior design is very nice and the atmosphere is aesthetically pleasing. • Service (1/5): the restaurant was not full at all and we got a table right away (walk-in during weekend). We had to call 2 time before a waitress gets our order. We were served quickly but the cutlery were missing. We had to wait another 5 min before to be able to see a waitress. The restaurant was not full but we were upstairs maybe this is why they were not paying attention. Same when we asked for the bill we had to wait another 15min . We just decided at the end to go down to pay directly at the counter. • Hygiene (2/5): only one toilet for the restaurant. The cleanliness restrooms was not clean. Rusty bin that would deserve to be changed and flush was not working. Summary: The food is average for a brunch, the service deserves to be improved. Overrated brunch place.

  I used to love this place and went back specifically because I’m on a vegetarian diet temporarily. I was disappointed. The food was okay but it could’ve been better. It wasn’t as fresh as it usually is making it less savoury and enjoyable. The atmosphere was quite relaxed and the service was great. Or waitress checked in regularly and handled our requests with care.

  This is a great brunch spot. The menu is huge and everything was delicious. Our initial impression wasn’t great as the girl at the front of the house was quite dismissive and a bit rude. We actually contemplated leaving (even when we had just sat down at our table), however, our waitress Piernina was a gem! She instantly changed the vibe from us wanting to leave to us ordering a pitcher of mimosas! She was friendly and an absolute delight! The food was hot and fresh and everything was very yummy. She made us glad we decided to stay! It’s pricy, but the portions are large and everything was freshly made. Muchas gracias por todo Piernina! 🩷
