Delicious Sri Lankan food for a great price. Service was great, super friendly people . Had Roast Paan and Lump rice. Authentic!

We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The staff are incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to accommodate our group of 12-15 people for a party. They provided access to a projector for a slideshow, allowed us to play dance music, let us use the entire facility-including the dance floor-at no extra charge. We even brought our own cake, which they happily accommodated, and service was consistently delivered with a smile. The food for two of our orders was significantly delayed, and there was a mix-up with billing, but the rest of the service more than made up for it. Overall, a fun, welcoming, and flexible place for celebrations-I'd highly recommend the place for a party space.

Went there for a birthday dinner. Ms Sonali, our server Hashan & the staff were friendly & went above & beyond for us. The food was delicious and had the authentic Sri Lankan/Colombo taste. Definitely going there again. Must visit if you are craving Sri Lankan cuisine.

One of the very few places where you can get truly tasty Sri Lankan-style Nasi Goreng — packed with amazing flavour! The lamprais was outstanding too, absolutely delicious. The staff are great — so polite and friendly. Yes, the food took a bit longer to arrive than expected and the lighting in the restaurant could be improved, but honestly, it was 100% worth the wait. The owners seem to rely purely on organic Google reviews (unlike some places that push for them), so they deserve more love and visibility. Highly recommend — we'll definitely be back! 🇱🇰❤️

We had an amazing experience at Base Kitchen + Bar! Absolutely loved the food and the vibe, such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We tried their Sri Lankan dishes, including the cheese and chicken kottu, fried cashews, roasted bread and Sri Lankan pol roti + wattalappan, everything was delicious. The flavors were authentic and tasted exactly like the best food we enjoy in Colombo. Every bite brought back memories of home! The service was also outstanding, friendly, attentive and welcoming throughout. Highly recommend Base Kitchen + Bar to anyone who loves Sri Lankan spices and authentic flavors. We’ll definitely be coming back!
