The jerk chicken was quite good, but the rest was just very meh. Coleslaw was just cut up dry cabbage 😂 I wasn’t mad persay about the food, but not memorable. My friend got the jerk shrimp appetizer. Salty, overpriced and overcooked. Wouldn’t go back.

The food was really authentic with filling portions. We ordered chicken and rice It comes with coleslaw and festival . A must try for Jamaicans and the people who live Jamaican food 😊

The food is absolutely amazing. Had the jerk chicken and red pea soup and my friend had goat curry and ackee and OMG it was amazing. And our server, Grace, was the best. She deserves a raise! Cannot recommend enough!

I had a very unpleasant experience with my last order. I was about three-quarters of the way through my soup when I suddenly felt something that felt like a large staple in my mouth. I pulled it out and realized it was a piece of metal, not a staple, but a long bendy metal object. I’m not sure what it is. You look at the photo and tell me. That alone was enough to completely turn my stomach and raise serious concerns about food safety and cleanliness. I had also ordered a stew chicken meal and some festivals. All I know is by the next day my stomach was badly upset. I can’t say for sure which item caused it, but I’ve been stuck in and out of the bathroom since, and that was the only food I ate for the day. It really sucks being sick right now because of this, and I don’t know when it’ll stop. Between finding a metal object in my soup and getting sick afterward, I’ve lost all confidence in this place. I’ll be leaving this restaurant behind.

Diner's Corner serves truly authentic Jamaican food with natural ingredients, not fast food greasy. We felt respected, with nice conversation as we waited for our dine-in order. If you're craving homemade Jamaican cuisine and elegantly plated, then it is a must-visit stop.
