Retro diner-style restaurant. They have a wide selection of items and everything was quick and came out as expected. Service was friendly and attentive among all staff members, and we had no complaints. Street parking (paid, but not too expensive) was fairly abundant on a Saturday morning, though it got busier when we left.

We had an amazing breakfast experience here when visiting in Toronto. We stayed in East York and this was the closest diner to the accomodation so we figured we would check it out. It has a great old school diner vibe. The waitress was very welcoming and funny, the food came out fast and tasted very fresh and at a good price. Make sure you pay for parking when you come here though! A couple people got hit with tickets while they were eating.

Full house when we arrived but wait times weren’t bad (~15-20 min)! Wait staff were great! Friendly and attentive to coffee top ups. Ordered the skillet (scrambled eggs, breakfast sausage, sautéed bell peppers and melted cheese on bed of home fries) but didn’t get the toast. Added a side Greek salad for $3.99. My dish could have used a bit more salt for flavour, but table salt fixed it. You might like that it’s barely seasoned if you’re watching salt intake. Plate was hot! Great presentation.

70 years strong! This place is a Toronto eastend gem. A must try for any breakfast loving Torontonians. The sizzler plates are the best I've ever had. Cozy, clean vintage environment with friendly and efficient service cooking up old school comfort food.

We went there for our 46 anniversary dinner as my partner wanted the liver and onions (no pic), with mashed potatoes. I had the banquet burger, fully loaded and it was great! cooked to perfection and very flavourful. I had the home fries because I'm not a fan of coated French fries. Our waitress was perfect and honest. Ask for Shie, as in Cheyenne. A beautiful old decor and and convenient parking. Check it out.
