Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Joneses is easily my favorite lunch spot in downtown Toronto. If you’re looking for a midday escape with high-energy, mid-century chic vibes, this is the place to be. The food is consistently outstanding. The 6oz Steak is seasoned and seared to absolute perfection—incredibly tender and exactly what you want for a power lunch. If you’re craving a burger, their Burger is a masterclass in classic Americana; juicy, high-quality beef, and easily one of the best in the Financial District. A massive shoutout to Vicki the manager as well. She is a total rockstar and always makes sure the experience is seamless and welcoming. It’s rare to find service this sharp and attentive during the busy lunch rush. Whether you’re hosting a client or just want a top-tier meal, The Joneses delivers every single time. Seating is great, the atmosphere is electric, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

The food here was an absolute disaster. We were served charcoal-black buns, patties, and bacon, completely burned. For a restaurant with such a high rating, it’s ridiculous and unacceptable to send out food in this condition. Burned food isn’t just unappetizing ,it can be unsafe to eat. What made it worse was that the sauces seemed intentionally piled on to hide how overcooked everything was. That feels careless and misleading. When food leaves the kitchen, there should be basic quality control ,clearly, there wasn’t. We also ordered pasta and tacos, which were actually delicious , proof the kitchen can do better than what actually served. The service was excellent, and the environment is relaxing and upscale. Unfortunately, the terrible execution of the main dishes completely undermines the whole dining experience. The food seriously lets this restaurant down.

Popped in for dinner after a comedy show and had a great time! Interior of the restaurant was great, very modern but homey. Service and staff were excellent - very friendly Menu had great options; went with the burger and steak and crab dip for starter. Finish with some chocolate cake - overall great experience!

The Joneses in Toronto is a great place for dinner in downtown Toronto. The space itself looked amazing with warm lighting, stylish but comfortable decor, and a cozy, welcoming vibe. It felt like the kind of place you could dress up for. I had their prix fixe menu and every course was amazing. The Caesar salad was super fresh with a really nice creamy dressing and crunchy croutons, simple but done perfectly. The crispy roast half chicken was the highlight the skin was golden and crisp, and the meat was juicy and full of flavor. Finished with the cheesecake, which was smooth and creamy without being too sweet, with a buttery crust. Samuel was friendly and a great server for our night. He took precise care of every person at the table.

Went there for my friends birthday, and the entire staff was really nice starting from the front door. The food was really good. I had the Salisbury short rib. It was sooo good and tender (not chewy at all) props to the chef. The restaurant itself it decorated so nicely very different from a lot of downtown places. The lights weren’t so low to the point where we can’t see and the music wasn’t so loud, my friends and I were able to hear ourselves without shouting.
