What an amazing experience during The Local's opening week post pandemic. The service was fantastic and the food was on par with, if not better than some of the finest restaurants across the GTA that I've visited. The operations are run by students, so it is a fantastic learning experience for them. Give yourself some extra time, enjoy the ambiance, sit back, and relax. I was thoroughly impressed with all aspects of the experience, and the price for the quality you receive is definitely a competing factor across all other dining experiences you have access to. I plan on being here weekly 👌

Fantastic experience, food, and ambiance! Highly recommend 👌 beef short ribs, Thai mango salad, ginger peach moxtail, Herb infused focaccia, and citrus cheesecake with meringue - all highly recommend. Menu does change up to 3 times per semester so make sure to try it out before it's gone!

Short menu but BIG plates! Lovely people, comfortable ambience and good food! That sums up the hard work of the students here and the restaurant. My GoTo brunch spot. 💯
